The left side of the slider is problematic even on mine. The grey part of the cap is too close to the white part. I have to push the grey knob a bit away from the white part to get it to go all the way up. Emailed ShowZ but no response.

I got my copy through tfsafari so it may be a factory defect. Although on my copy it doesn't get terribly stuck, hopefully it's not too bad on yours.

I've seen that the g1 head and the titans return head are similarly sized, I doubt the connection is the same though. But since the modfans figure uses that adapter plate to attach I'm sure you can 3d print a new adapter plate or modify the one it comes with.

I don't have any newage or magic square figures to compare with, but he's 10 cm/ 4 inches, which I think is the same height as newage wheeljack

I plug it in on the little red door in robot mode, and in base mode I just plug it into one of the ports near the ramps you use to connect other bases.
