I did see haus labs Instagram post and it really just made no sense to me. I’ve never seen a color wheel that describes yellow or peach, which is a variety of orange, as cool.

I love that they don’t slap the LE on it. You can take your time and look into it when you are in need of a new foundation rather than have it go bad in a drawer!! The powder really is quite good.

I was waiting for your review! I’m going to need to go in and get color matched. It’s so weird the Rosy undertones are warm and the cool colors have golden undertone. It looks amazing on you. At first I thought you looked orange, but once it settled in, it was perfect!

Good morning, Rabbi! YES, in store, it was the first time they'd used it too and it was an empty store, just at opening so we all gathered round and we all gasped in horror when it went so orange at first. But when it mellows out, WOW, it's lovely. Truly lovely. I was so pleased to take out the guesswork and match in store.

Nicole! You know I love my Hydroflex! Nothing alike. The Tarte product is very light and has a slightly more dewy finish and moves more with the skin. This is flatter, not in a bad way, and fuller coverage.

Love your hair, and the foundation looks great on you. I am very interested in this foundation, if it would work for dry skin. The powder looks great too. Soooooo many shades, I need to go in store to get matched. I know I definitely don’t have rosy or olive undertones, but so many shades to choose from. So far, what I have bought from that line, is really nice, highlighter and lip oil. Her bronzers feel really nice, when I swatched them too.

This has a nice blurring effect. After you applied it, I was surprised when you said you had to apply powder. It truly looked like you already had powder on. And yes, it does have a nice, natural look.

Oooo that's SO irritating, right? story of my life.

I went and got matched today and it was a good thing I did. The shades do tend to get a little dark. So I on the sephora app I was matched to 415 but on the Haus website and consulting their shade matcher I got 370. If you use the one on Haus you can put as many foundations that you use and it will math you. In the store I was a 360 and 370. So the sephora app matched me much darker than I was.

Great review Rebecca and so quick. What a good shade match. I am going to try the foundation but I am waiting for more pale people to post shades as I am unsure on an online match but probably will be 40 or 60. The shade finder was 110 which looked too dark from the photos. The powder also looked interesting and no scent😀

I prefer the Haus actually! Nars is a bit more reflective and dewy. This one is flatter but you can make it dewy by adding highlighter etc. ❤️

Mine arrives Tuesday. Of course I had to order online which is really frustrating bc these shades were confusing. I got 60 and 130 warm. Warm that's right bc it appeared their shades are backwards? It better be good haha 😄

Danielle! And I ended up getting neutral which started warm and then mellowed. But I’ve heard the shades are flipped. That wheel confused me. Pink was warm. Yellow was cool. I had to rub my eyes and switch browsers thinking my browser was not working with their system!

I am neutral, too, and the 210 goes on very yellow and then mellows out perfectly on me. The wheel on the brands website is helpful. You just have to remember that they do their shades like Mac. I don’t know if you know what I mean but it’s kind of opposite of the normal cool neutral warm range. Like backwards. But I have heard that once you grasp that their website is very good at matching.

My phone is acting weird, so I can't go back and find the part about the gloss. Is that Haus as well? Your lip color is fantastic! I want whatever that is! The foundation looks promising, but I need to quit buying foundations for awhile.

This foundation isn’t in my local Sephora yet. Hopefully they get it, because there’s absolutely no way I would order it without swatching. I think whoever created the descriptions of her foundations was high. WTH is “cool with golden olive” or “cool with golden peach?!” Golden is literally the antithesis of a cool undertone. I am light medium cool and I have zero clue what to even think about getting. However, seeing how yellow the neutral was on you, does not leave me confident that there would be a shade match for me.

Ok. I just did the tool thing for you and it gave me 130 BUT BUT BUT BUT remember, I couldn't answer all of their questions accurately and you can, obviously, so I'm willing to guess that 160 is correct. It's definitely between 130 to 160 but we could have guessed that, I suppose. The good thing is that, with 51 shades, you really will be targeting the right area. If you try the 160, please let me know.

I ended up getting one with a neutral under town which is correct for my skin type and it looked too warm on first application but then mellowed out beautifully. So I wonder too.

Dory! A tough question and the reason why it’s a tough question is those are my two current absolute favorite foundations. I would say I’d like the Chanel a slight bit more but Gaga is a darn close second. Coverage is pretty much identical. The Chanel has a little bit more of a natural glow to it

Hello Jessica! I know. I’m a bad influence on myself too! Ha ha. As much as I disliked this brand when it was in its first incarnation and only sold at Amazon is equal to how much I love this new version of the brand and the new products. They’re just fantastic. Lips are so good from them.

Foundation is so hard. Lol. I want to get something that works with my skin and I cannot find anything whether it's drugstore or high-end... So I'm interested in seeing how this performs. I have combination skin which is tricky. It is dry but oily. And I get all shiny no matter how much powder and foundation never last or gets patchy.

they all look pink and LAVENDER online?! I know their opposite like mac but still all look completely different from the models!

You are absolutely correct. I was so relieved when I could go in store but not everyone can. AND I’m neutral so I don’t have to translate the whole warm cool thing. I got lucky twice here really.
