Ah yes, the hit single "Greninja, Don't Do That" and the follow-up single "Cinderace K.O'ed (Surrender at 5)" That said, LOVE the buff on Waterfall.

I love how you can use Aqua tail during Waterfall to try and charge up your boosted Aqua Tail Variant, and, if done fast enough, you can still utilize your 3rd Waterfall to close the distance! Great All-Rounder.

This is my preferred Gyarados moveset and it's become one of my best Pokemon.

Waterfall/Dragon Breath has been my favorite Gyrados build ever since the first waterfall buff and this makes it even better

I like amp/muscle band/weakness policy, but the weakness policy could be an attack weight if you feel good enough about stacking on Magikarp or it could be something like a focus band or resonant guard if you want bulk

Would dragon breath be better with waterfall

It’s so insane I had a gyarados run across the entire map while I had X speed play rough Azu and COULD NOT catch him

This whole game: “WATER YOU DOING”

gyarados dragon breath plus waterfall and aqua tail plus waterfall both are good

This is the only build that's fun on gyarados

After 3 stacks I knew it was over

I wish aqua tail was like azus. So you didn’t have to do it back to back or at least between water fall would be cool

Played one gyarados game to try the tail/waterfall buffs, ended up getting destroyed in lane early game and somehow ended up with a bug where the auto attacks still worked like magikarp's after evolving. Lost the match but the moves did feel better lol, got 110k damage too but a lot of it was just aqua tailing the enemies while they stood on our center goal in the last minute

Turns out the bug is caused by evolving in the middle of an auto attack, not sure how I managed to do that, using dragon breath fixes it since it changes the auto so it's only an issue if you play aqua tail

Can anyone say what's the actual change they did to waterfall??

Aqua Tail is still MEH. I do like Waterfall now. I’m going to try Waterfall / Dragons Breath combo.

It always did, now it moves you half as much as it used to.

But if the tree chose wood hammer + horn leech, you might not be that confident in game 🥺. Honestly i don't like tree in my team choose curse + pain split realllllly can't protect anyone.

It's still extremely bad What it needed more wasn't a dmg increase, it more needed aqua tail not stopping everytime you get stunned or thrown back It has such a easy counter, until they fix it dragon breath will always be better 🤷

@@jinji4609 Except it's an all rounder And its range isn't big enough to be safe either If you match with opponents like mew , Mewtwo , delphox , bulbasaur , ninetails , Pikachu , trevenant , cinderace etc it gets completely neutralized most of the time Honestly this moveset will remain trash whatever changes they do to it , all it needs is unstoppable when using it and it'll be good

Problem with aqua tail is that its too slow

This update has it's ups and downs, but I have to say, Gyarados actually feels aggressive now, just like how it should be.

Bruh waterfall is scary

Waterfall is insanely too good

I feel like majority of the games I gotten into are just bot lobbies cause lack of people who play this anymore

Dont really feel any of the nerfs or buffs really, eldeboss is still good actually and buzzwole still annoying

Aqua tail is a terrible move there is no way around it without a rework

I didnt like playing aqua tail, mons just walk out of your range

They either need to rework Champ or super buff him cause his "buff" is trash. No one uses submission.

I don't think reworking machamp is a good idea considering how good his abilities are. There are just so many all-rounders who have greater damage output and survivability than machamp

It's too strong now like Metagross was when it first came out
