I’m a big fan of Givenchy eye palettes, I find them easy to work with, lasting and so elegant. My favourite after Tom Ford formula.

that’s good to know - i’ve never tried givenchy and tom ford eyeshadows are my all-time favorites for the same reasons.

I’ve never had a Givenchy eye palette, but this one is really appealing! I love that it’s neutral but has some shades leaning warm and some leaning cool. That’s exactly what I’m looking for in a neutral palette! I’m putting this on my list!!!

Ooh I love the neutral Givenchy palette & lip glosses! The swatches are so my color story. I need to pace myself so many things coming out. Maybe wait for these if they go on Sephora sale 😆. Great demo and swatch comparisons!! 😊🌺

There are so many releases, it's crazy!

The eyeshadow does look lovely. I definitely will be picking it up. The lip glosses look like really nice colors, but I don't like minty or tingly lip products so I'll pass on those. It's good to hear that there is another good mascara on the market. Thank you for this review!👏🙂

Hi Lexi, absolutely love the antique gold, burnished bronze eye look you created...the regal earrings are perfect with it! The lip products are irresistible ice cream swirls...no further explanation needed LOL. 😂👏💯

I had my eye on those earrings too! The shades Lexi wore are stunning. I'm a big fan of Givenchy, most especially the Eye Palettes. Can't wait for these products to make it to Australia. When that will be is anyone's guess. It took a year and a half for one palette to arrive, although the Christmas Collection did arrive in a timely manner and I certainly indulged! Great make-up that's very underrated.💖

You are RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! Mid watching already ordered the palette. They didn’t have the mini mascara rn do it’ll have to wait but I am almost sure sephora already has the mascara in stock! You are phenomenal ❤

Yes!! I bought this one! I did not buy the ND "I need a Nude" palette & really I think the only ones I have that are true nude palettes are the Chanel Tisse Essential palette, Tom Ford Nude Dip & De la Creme (very warm), maybe the Wild Nudes palette from Guerlain. So I believe I am going to love this one!! ❤❤❤

These palettes are a wonderful throwback to Givenchy in the late 80s/early 90s with the diamond shape pans. The one with the pink really has that 80s vibe. Back then, Givenchy makeup cost more than Chanel's. Chanel makeup still had Coco's workday wearable style, office/suit look. Givenchy however was full-on Paris glam, which went with their shorter flouncy skirts, dark knit tights and matching dark velvet pumps. Givenchy usually shared counter space with YSL and Guerlain, all three had the glam vibe. All I could do was enjoy looking because those brands cost more.

I'm definitely picking up the mascara

I randomly ordered this palette yesterday and had no idea it was new! So excited after seeing this review. Do we know whatever happened with that other palette that was rumored to be (re) released by them for Spring?

I saw that it re-released in Japan but I still haven't seen it pop up here in the US. I'm wondering if they decided to only release it in Japan. The US Givenchy team is very small so information is scarce.

​@@LexiJong Is this the old 9.07 being re-released? I saw a picture of it that Sofia showed, but luckily already have it. No sign of it in Australia. We sometimes get products sent to South East Asia if we're lucky. I'll keep my eye out.💖

It's quite rare that Givenchy Eye Palettes are Limited Edition. I own every palette except for an elusive one that no-one seems to know anything about, 9.06. Out of all the rest, the only ones limited are the 9.07 and the recent Holiday 9.10. I'm not sure what 9.11 is going to be if this new release straight after 9.10 is 9.12.🤷🏼‍♀️

Lexi, I feel that the Givenchy Eye Palettes are so very underrated. The first I tried was 9.07, the L/E from Christmas about two or three years back. It popped up a year and a half after it was released at Sephora Australia. When we get products late - believe it! Although a very soft palette with only one matte, it took my breath away and I was hooked. I then purchased every palette except for the elusive 9.06 whom no-one seems to know anything about and I was dearly hoping you could end this conundrum. Even if it was a limited edition, it should still show up when Googled and Givenchy should know but claim they haven't a clue. I hope you can help clear this up. I just love the formula of these palettes and those gorgeous shifts within the shadows that never show up in photographs. I have slightly mature lids and find these palettes suit me wonderfully. I can't wait for these to arrive here. It will most likely take awhile, yet as long as I get to purchase it, I'll be happy. I've never used the Mascara or the Liquid Glosses. I love their Lipsticks and the Le Rouge Interdit Baume Lip Balm is fantastic on my extremely dry lips. I also fell for both Luminisors that were released at Christmas, although I can't use the Bronze as a highlighter. I've found other uses for it, most especially as a lipstick. I've been curious about their mascara and will hopefully be able to get it when the Eye Palette finally arrives. Those eye shades are just divine, especially the shades you are wearing. I honestly can't pick a favourite from mine as they all are stunning in there own way. Thanks so much for this thorough review, Kris.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

@@LexiJong There were a few unrecognisable palettes on that page. I never saw that when searching and even Givenchy couldn't answer when I questioned them about it directly. If Cosmetic Companies release items, they should be equally available for everyone around the globe. I discovered the Guerlain Red Vanda Quad on sale here in Australia and asked Allfeisty (Jen) if she had it. She didn't know anything of it and collects them all, yet there are a few Americans who did manage to get it from the Guerlain website before it disappeared. I went to look up YT videos for this Quad, yet found only three - one from Asia somewhere. Most likely destined for the Asian market and some ended up here in Australia. I have every Givenchy Eye Palette except for this oddity of no 9.06.🤷🏼‍♀️ Just as well I don't suffer OCD!

This eyeshadow palette looks nice. I like neutral shades plus I m looking for a good neutral whitish cream shade for brow and inner corner. I have a hard time finding the right one but this white looks promising. The mascara looks nice bc in the demo it looked like it was laying a good amount of product at the base of your lashes which makes them look fuller. Your makeup looks pretty too. 😊🎉Yayyy!!! I'm so excited for this release. It's so pretty!😍 It's PERFECT every day for fair skin. Already like it better than all the other neutral eyeshadow releases this year!! I personally can't get a full look out of quads, they always lack either inner corner highlights or light enough crease shades etc. The formula looks much nicer on your eye than the Dior backstage too. By the way that small flat brush works really nice with all kinds of shimmers!! Since it's so small it's perfect for inner corners or halo eyes and it picks up flaky /wet formulas too. Have you ever tried the Tarte Maneater mascara? I dislike most mascaras and this and the TF BTS are the only ones I really like. The Valentino one was not too bad AFTER it sat for over a month but then it tried out rather quickly so not worth it. Love the lip balms too! Perfect colours for me. Reminds me a bit of the 2 Suqqu shimmery treatment gloss colours that came out around the holidays.

I haven't tried that one. I've used their Lights, camera, lashes mascara but didn't love that one. I'll have to check it out. You are right, these are similar shades to the suqqu glosses!

Well, I don’t need it but the palette and the mascara have really impressed me. It looks like they are perfectly basic with the potential to do everything you might need. I sure hope they are permanent because no buy/low buy. The formulae look very good.

Hi Lexi, The eyeshadow is nice but after I tried the new Burberry eyeshadows I think I will buy at least one of them (04). They are high quality, silky texture, pigmented, easy to blend and the colours are much nicer in person. Plus I prefer small palettes. The lip glosses are pretty and definitely I want to try them. The new mascara looks ok but I love the Hermes mascara, the way it feels, outstanding performance and the thin brush that makes the application extremely easy. Thanks for sharing!🙂

I own three of the Burberry and working on the fourth after I secure this gorgeous Givency number. I'm a great lover of all things Burberry in their Cosmetic Range, yet I think you would be surprised at the lovely texture of the Givenchy Eye Palettes. I have slightly mature lids and this is why I go for both brands. The palette isn't all that large to be honest. I do prefer something a tad smaller too and the Givenchy is a great size and easy to hold. The brush that comes with it is also of good quality. Both brands have these palettes available in their regular lines, so there is plenty of time to try what you wish.💖

I actually don't have that one. I think my favorite is either 9.12 or 9.03. 9.03 probably wins a little because of the purpley shade - it's nice to have a pop of color.

Beautiful neutral palette Lexi!! I wonder how those compare to the two brown Guerlain quads that came out I think last fall? It made me think of those and I love those shades on the eyes ❤ thank you for all that you do!!

You'll get a much better selection of just neutral shades with the Givenchy in my opinion. I own the two Guerlain Palettes and feel that they will lean much warmer than the Givenchy. Can't wait for it to arrive here!🇦🇺💖

I do love the color story of this pallet, Lexi. I hope it will eventually come to Holt Renfrew. May I ask are they powdery like the Gucci eyeshadow or the TF iconic smoke pallet? Or is it more on the creamy side like the Chanel eyeshadow? Thanks

Hi Lexi! Thank you for this great video, reviewing Givenchy’s spring collection. The standout for me is that mascara!! Your lashes have never looked this good - they frame your eyes really well. The new eye palette is very pretty on you - it’s a tad warm for me (I will go for the 9.03). I really want the LE Rose perfecto balm (which is not linked nor listed anywhere - how did you get it?). Love your look in this video. Fresh and classy - gorgeous. Mascara is on my sephora loves list. Thanks again!

The gloss/balms are pretty but do they still have that wicked strong rose scent/taste? I know it’s in the name but the previous one I had was like perfume with a bit of gloss. I could get on board with vanilla mint! The eyeshadow looks beautiful on you!

If you are referring to the type before the marbled, they are different. Definitely more vanilla mint now but check them out in person if you can.

They are pretty comparable. The Burberry is a bit more creamy than the Givenchy.

Love the eyelook, such gorgeous shades.. Did you just use a eyeshadow as liner, looking for a great brown.. ty 😊

Yes, it's just so easy to use that I use it when I don't feel like doing my brows. My other favorite is the VBB pencil but that takes more effort, lol.

Yes, same formula for all of them. It's a mild mint sensation so it doesn't bother me but you might want to see if you can see them in store first.

You can definitely find similar shades in the inan palette! Quality is good for both, i prefer the Givenchy a little more texturally as it seems a bit more refined but the nd offers more shimmer than the Givenchy.
