I bought just the tips only a few months ago since I have plenty of nail glue gel polish and nail lamps. I used this for my birthday set and when I tell you this shit is strong as hell! I remember the pain I felt when I hit my hand on a hard surface but it still stayed on. At the time I didn't know that it was for Flat Nail Beds so I just took my 2x corse bit to file the inside and it customized it to my nails. It's so crystal clear if you take a tip and hold it up against an item it's like a magnifying glass.

Out of all of the reviews for this nail system… this review was very concise and informative. I am a flat nail bed and big handed female who doesn’t fall for nail gimmicks… because every system isn’t for everyone and I’ve wasted a lot of money on nails that hurt or doesn’t fit my nail beds. I absolutely love these nails. They are insanely strong. The glue is freaking awesome and is my favorite of the UV gel nail glue by far. Once you have the nail on it’s sooooo freaking sturdy. I have had my gift set on for several days now and the nails aren’t going anywhere. I’ve shortened them down to what would be a short oval. I left the thickeners and thinned others out. You don’t loose stability on the tip or the apex. Yes, they are made for flatter nails with less of a c curve. There’s a video on Amazon that shows you how to drill them on the inside for you if you’re one who had to get sculptured nails. I do not have flat nails and it only took a couple of extra seconds a nail to fit them to my nail beds. So DO NOT let that keep you from getting these. Like she’s said, these are HARD. They are to mimic acrylic, not gel.

I got this set just a few months ago. I have to admit I’m in love with them. I’m horrible at making an apex so these are utterly perfect for my nails. My only issue is that it only comes in one style. It would be really nice if there were different ones. My very first set didn’t last to long because I’m obviously not a professional HOWEVER I learned really quick and have had them last an entire month. Soooo worth the money!

You can file them to fit your nails. And also to make them thinner. This is what I do with mine I think the apex is fabulous and it saves me time making an apex which I am lousy at. You will love these nails

Those tips would make for some really cool encapsulations. Loved the red! Also, you'll be happy to know I finally made the pink chrome I told you about before work. I used a holo chrome and it is so cute!

Wow turn out great, I truly appreciated your breakdowns of what to expect and the do’s and don’t . And you answered my other concern do they come middle or shorter length. Which is my preference. I have these and they are amazing quality! And once they are on they look like acrylic! I just wish they had longer sets 😕 and even though it didn’t say anything about dehydrator and primer, I still use these the same as I do any other tips, and they stayed on until I was ready to change them and put on a new set

Love your video 😊 But, looking at the instructions you showed, it actually does not say to etch the inside of the tip, only to file the edges. Does it say so somewhere else? And how long did they last? 😊

I just came across this video (I've been doing my own nails for about 10 months using gel X, poly gel, and some acrylic) So I think it just showed up because of my preferences... Thanks for this! I’m literally prepping my nails for this set rn. Like you, I have mostly flat nail beds but my ring and pinky have c curves. I was able to grind out enough of the ring nail to fit. I’m planning to add a foil and use hard gel to extend the sides and if the nail doesn’t fit perfectly. I considered polygel but it’s not clear enough. Will you do a removal video? Or rebalancing and removing if that’s even possible. I’m really curious about removal since the apex is high.

Good question! They remove like normal soaking in acetone. For these I prefer the soak off bowls you can find on either amazon or shein 💕

Just wanted to make sure people knew these are acrylic, not gel. For those who may have acrylic allergies.

Do you think it’s ok to still buy these if I don’t have flat nail beds and just file and shape them to fit me?

I wouldn't recommend if you have curved nail beds. The tips wont fit correctly. Since, they're not flexible it would be difficult to shape or roll them to fit on top of a curved nail 😞

So are u curing each nail after applying the tip and then doing a full cure?

Yes! flash cured for about 15 seconds in between each nail. It doesn't have to be flash cured though since the glue is thick enough and can stay in place while working on the other fingers. It comes down to which method is easiest for you♥️

Ordered some from Amazon that were titled, "Beetles Gel Polish TIPEX Instant Apex Nail Tips". They did not come with glue so I purchased what appeared to be the glue that one is to use with them. NOT!!! It is a rubber like glue that does not allow for an extremely close bond. It is called Beetles Nail Glue. VERY hard to work with and just doesn't hold well. A glue that holds without putting it under the light is what I have always used and this one is not that lol. Kinda hard to press your nail down tightly and get light to the nail at the same time. Please give me the name of the glue that works best with these nails. I am having to file the end of these nails after I cut them for two reasons. One because I like my nails almond shape and then after I get them the shape I want, I file the end edge down because the thickness is just not natural looking. I wish they would make them taper a bit thinner at both ends .

Great application and the apex looks nice viewed from the side but the overall form and shape for ME are off. I was taught by a Russian and they are so strict with what they view as correct form, and I feel the sides when looking at them hand down flat are too bulbous. I think for the average Nail DIYER they are fine but for a professional, I just don't love them
