Thank you for talking about Earthlock, I've seen it on Steam but passed it up time and time again. I'll have to pick it up when its on sale. I agree, way too many video games, but i dont think its necessarily a bad thing. But some gems Will fly under the radar.

1-800-USA-SEGA was so awesome. Back when Sega was struggling to establish itself through Tonka... I remember that phone number was a sticker at the bottom of my Master System. I too had packets sent to me full of game tips and cheats. I had no idea about the secret level on R-Type until I got the tip. Good times.

Nice pickups, working on a new haul video but so much to cover. Just preorded every game for 2019. Both digital and physical releases.

I'm Canadian and managed to watch the BBC which had many of my youth classic shows like " are you being served " "Red Dwarf " "Blackadder" and of course " Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy " incredible shows

Unfortunately Nondo sold out but I picked it up at Amoeba and it was cheaper too! Last time you got me with the Macross Blu-rays. Kim has good taste I picked the D&D Art Book and just with it had more 2x-3x more art, fold outs and that they didn't put labels on some of the art.

@5 minutes...Castlevania SOTN is best soundtrack of all time...YES! I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been listening to this soundtrack for so long, and I so wish I had the old tape my brother and I made of it! Absolutely love it!!!

Wizardry definitely had an office dedicated to that... I remember very well you could write and they would answer. Let's say back then the videogame market was quite smaller and also without the internet was quite easy to get lost in a game like I dunno.. Zork? God the hours I spent trying to beat Zork (especially Nemesis) as a kid!!

Fantastic stuff, Johnny! I had no idea the HGTTG tv series was released on bluray. I have the old DVDs.

I once called nintendo and my parents grounded me for 2 weeks.

I picked up that same Castlevania SOTN soundtrack on vinyl too! It is so awesome looking!

I got super Mario tricks in the mail from Nintendo. I called their 800 hotline all the time just to chat with those people about games.

Well, you could just go buy a Nintendo Power for $5 and get most of what you needed, versus paying like, $3 a min to call the Sega hotline.. so there's that.

Good stuff. I was hoping for some movies and anime, as I've gotten a bunch of ideas from you. No big deal, as I have a lot of things I still have to watch. Nice to hear what you had to say about Turbo Views. I found out about it by a tip from a friend of mine back in 2014, my year of the PC Engine, and I ended up watching most of his videos multiple times. I love his TG16 reviews, and Chris seems like a nice guy overall from interacting with him in the comments.

I got earthlock on xbox one with games with gold it WAS digital only but im glad to see more companies making ACTUAL physical copies for digital only games its a amazing game still haven't finished it though lol

That D&D art book is freaking awesome! The Artwork from TSR was such a big influence on me...hell...to this day it still is.

I have my ps1 classic modded and it’s awesome! Fixed everything. It’s a dream. And it’s only gonna get better!

Dark Souls Trilogy! Might be the best pick up of all time for the uninitiated.

I was stuck on it too, thought I wouldn't be able to finish the game, but I clutched it after a couple of trial and errors.

I got Earthlock on steam. Bought it cheap for $10. It's not bad at all. Currently playing Shogun Tactics: Blade of the Shoguns on PC. It's a strategy stealth real time ninja game. Sort of like Tenchu.

Shadow Tactics is a bad ass game.

I'm playing Symphony right now all the way through for the first time. The hype behind this game is 100 percent real.

Not that you would get rid of it. But I would highly recommend hanging onto the copy of Earthlock because the retail copy has a completely different cover art. Very cool stuff and awesome of the devs to send that. Cool game.

Diggin the shirt man!!!! got the SOTN soundtrack as well. god I had been waiting for so long for that to come out. I think Konami made them wait so they could release it the same day as the new game. I believe the copyright shows that

Saw the hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy bluray near the end and immediately ordered it from Ebay, didn't know it was out

I love Johnny. Final Fantasy OST and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night OST fan. My two favorites as well.

I'm so glad Katamari is back. It's nice to see all of these niche games I love are making a comeback this and Catherine and Killer 7 all got ports on the PC so now I'm replaying some of my favorite PS2/3 games. Also, Happy Birthday Johnny!

Gradually, as everyone completes World of Light mode, more and more people are going to call it straight that Ultimate is sorely lacking in replayability modes.
