I’m thinking the same thing. I imagine that as much as the GI Joe Hasbro team has stated that they love the retro line recently, I can see Doc definitely getting a retro release in the future. But it’s also not guaranteed otherwise I’d just wait until they release those. I’m not really into the modern takes on some of these beloved characters especially when they have tattoos for instance.

Jinx's weapon is called a "double ended death spork". I'll definitely be ordering Jinx and two Night Creepers, but the others I'll leave until I see reviews.

i've started to second guess rushing out to get any classified character cuz hasbro will just reissue a better classic version later. most of the first few waves are obsolete now and i replaced them with retro carded/classic reissues.

Well the early ones were meant to be updates not just reissues of their ARAH counterparts but many didnt like that so Hasbro changed course and so most now are strongly based on their original designs with Hasbro going back and doing those early ones to look more like their ARAH counterparts.

JC you gotta keep in mind for GI Joe line they are going for original toy look not just cartoon when didn't wear helmet. The original toy had a helmet with figure and package aret had helmet on. If people want cartoon look then they gotta get super7 GI Joe line.

I wasn't complaining about the helmet, I just said he didnt wear it much in the cartoon or comics. The Classified helmet doesnt look like the original toy one though which is what I was saying and not as a complaint.

am i the only one while watching top gun maverick that the actor introducing maverick to the pilots in the briefing scene with big american flag behind, the dude reminded me of doc, he even had that beige uniform on and the haircut. he just needed his glasses and voila: doc from gijoe.

I can’t stand all of the tattoos personally. And I would hope that we eventually get retro releases of these classic characters in the future, since the GI Joe Hasbro team has stated that they do love the retro line. Fingers crossed.🤞🏾
