We were in Disney last week and went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on Oct.10th. This projection show with the villians and the one that came afterwards before the fireworks just blew me away! I LOVED IT!!!

Glad you posted this. We were at the party on a very rainy 9/24 and then again on 9/29. There were no projections on the 24th but there were on the 29th. Without your video, I probably wouldn't have realized that the effects were new. My favorite is the bouncing/pulsating castle effect. Caught our attention as we walked the bridge from the Teacups to the hub.

Omg we went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party yesterday and this show was awesome! The Hallowishes fireworks were incredible and after the night ended we danced in tomorrow land with Sully and Boo dancing with a live dj it was like going to a disco but with my kids... I love Disney so much! Great family moments!

Omg. This is why I need to be in disney world. Like right now. That last part with the "off with your head" remix song and the queen dancing = priceless! :D

This was AMAZING in person. We were there last Thursday. There's an awesome projection show before the fireworks as well that was AWESOME! Great addition to the whole Disney magic. :)

Love the flirting between Facilier and Maleficent. That alone was awesome! I wasn't able to make it to this show when I went to the Halloween party this year, but this made it all better ^_^

So cool they're making use of the projection tech in other shows. I was afraid they'd just use it for that magic, the memories, and you" show but I love they're finding other uses for it

It would probably take a lot of experimentation and rehearsal, but I kind of wish they would play around more with the dancing shadow effect for "Friends on the Other Side." There's all kinds of cool things they could do here by having the projected shadow mirror the moves of the dancer on stage, assuming he can keep in sync.

I love this show and I love the addition of the projections. Also Hallowishes is my favorite fireworks out of the year and always look forward to them. However I feel the event itself needs a make-over it is always too much of the same. First year after going to this for many years that I am not going and just going to watch the fireworks from a resort.

That was a "frightningly" spectacular show! A few villains were left out though. Hades, Ursula, Gaston, the bad guy from Tarzan, Jafar. Other than that, a very magical & musical show. :)

I don't understand why they can't do awesome projection effects like that at Disneyland? Its cool & Disneyland needs a new show/effect!

If you stand further back, will it get more difficult to meet with the villains after the end of the show??

Jafar was in the original version of this show. As of the 2011 update, he has been replaced by Frollo

As of the last Halloween Party in 2013, you can meet him near the Town Square Theatre on Main Street near the front gate of the Magic Kingdom. Not sure if this will carry over for the 2014 party, but it's a good bet. Other villains you can meet that don't appear in the mix and mingle show are Lotso, Gaston, and the Tremaine family.

He's a judge, and catholic. But he was also a total dick and kills quasimodos mom and tries to drown baby quasimodo, within the first like, 10 minutes of the movie.
