Kathryn to make your listening and the word, spend some time reading and listening at the same time. This will connect spelling and sound in your brain :) A page of a book, or a 5-minute video a day will do the trick :)

These kinds of videos are good for oral comprehension AND for verbal memory. I listen and repeat each sentence without looking at the text. Sometimes I can remember and repeat most of the sentence. Other times, if the phrase is a bit longer, I might only remember the first couple of words. I listen and repeat until I can say the whole sentence.

I really learned a lot from your first short story book and look forward to your second. One question on this quiz. I thought it was faire DU camping, but I think I saw faire DE camping in one of the questions. Are both acceptable? Can you explain?

For me was ‘rendre (visite)’ a new insight maby it is a good suggestion for a whole lesson about ‘rendre’ in different situations ☺️

Brilliant video and excercise. I got a few wrong but that was because I was also trying to get the spelling right and not just understand what you were saying. So I made it a harder test for myself. However I was thrilled with the last question because I sometimes get the accents wrong but the other day I learnt how the letter “e” is the only one to take an accent aigu therefore I knew it had to be là and not lá 😂
