How to insert snowfall one in our own blend file?

Like you said it looks super dope! Unrelated question, but i bet you know the answer i found a video of someone who made a playhouse theatre in blender with full lighting control. They had sliders mapped to multiple lights at once. Like a macro control in music software. I have been searching online for a way to create a single slider that controls multiple elements in a scene at once but am not using the correct language i guesss. Any ideas? Dig your videos btw! Thanks

Off the top of my head, I would assume they're using drivers. Probably some object has a list of variables/controls that those lights you're describing are all driven by. If you're looking to do something similar I'd stay a good start would be googling/youtubing tutorials about rigging with drivers in Blender.

I believe you can use nodes with lights (it has to be enabled in the light properties) which would allow you to plug a control value (likely a float, if its for light intensity) into as many lights as you want. If all the lights are using the same value, you can make the connection directly -- otherwise use a math>multiply node to give each light their own values that can be adjusted by the control value. I am not a heavy Blender user, so there may be better ways to do this!

how can we call these geometry node into our scene files without messing the original generator download? do we have to make a duplicate file of the download to use these or are they importable?

But if I drag and drop the Asset in my Layout it did not work. What do I have to do to make the assets work in Blender. Thanks for Help.

Can these geometry nodes animations be put into unity? this is a question confused me all the time

The music visualiser doesn't seem to work, I notice you didn't show it working either - did it work for you? I have the music file correct and plays with no errors but no animation happens.

How do you install Generators ?

Where are you dragging from?

what about UV? This isuseless if we can't add textures to it.

I'm curious. With the parametric procedural strength of geo nodes, why even use particle systems anymore?

For Physics interactions. Geo nodes still doesn’t support simulations unfortunately

@@dirtcreature3d hmm, I've seen some things with geo nodes that looks like simulation but I guess that's simply because of how flexible the system is and not true simulation?

In Shader Editor you can Random (Object Info node) and Random per Island (Geometry node) to randomize all kinds of stuff

they come as files, you dont need to install them, you need to open or append the files.
