Nice little touch there Gav as a nod to the terrible events that took place 22 years ago today, I may now invest in the LatinVFR aircraft with these updates.

As someone who has only recently moved across to MSFS2020,this is very helpful, thanks Gavin. Not sure anyone else has mentioned FS Labs here. Their 4th July news update confirmed they are moving ahead with MSFS development for their products. For the short term I will stick with the FBW A20N and await FSLabs news. Keith

the a318 is an awesome airplane and it is so cool we can fly it in msfs. Also your cinematics in msfs are awesome!

Thanks for the video. I just bought the LVFR A321 and installed the horizon mod as well as the GSX profiles . The EFB even knows the simbrief login as well as the Hoppie ID right from the start All works very well and on top: If you own FS2Crews A320NX FBW -> this also works with the A321, as both A/C are based on the FBW aircraft very very good combo!

The MODS these guys created for the community make the LVFR Airbus series much more enjoyable. I use their MOD on the A319 and the A321.

looking forward to trying the A318 with this mod and recreating some of the retired BA flights out of EGLC

It would be very interesting and helpful to have a video also on the different procedures for a 318 to a321 ( just another idea for future videos or live streams)

the procedures are pretty much the same across the A319-21 family. Things change when you get to the A330. The 19/20/21 are a common type rating, which they were designed to be and if you fly one you can fly any of them. Much like the 737Ng series 600-900, with the Max only needing an additional iPad course which now includes MCAS.

I'm not sure if it's the LR version, but another airline flying the A321 trans-Atlantic is Air Transat from Canada, where they operate Toronto Pearson (CYYZ) to London Gatwick.

The Flare law is the same like FBW A320 - it doesn't exist. But for Beginners it is good to learn in this way to fly!

HorizonSimulations you did an outstanding job with the A318. Now I can fly the A318 before it was so out of control. The only problem I have only one catering truck is showing up.

Im using a319 horizon mod and it is realy good, im happy horizon simulations made this possible, with out that mod it is not that exciting, but with mod it is another level

I’ve just moved from console to PC (literally this weekend!), and I have to say the difference between the base LVFR A320’s and the Horizon mod is amazing! I was going to get the Fenix, but have decided that I don’t want to spend another AUD$100 on an add-on (I have the PMDG B737 & B738). And the Thrustmaster hardware works very well with these aircraft too, I had regretted that purchase for months until I moved to PC and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional.

Thanks Gavin for making me aware of this Mod - I've been waiting for the FBW A321 release but will now get the LVFR and use the HorizonSim mod. One question I have... do 3rd party liveries for the LVFR A321 work with this mod. Keep up the great work!

Does it use the FBW version you are on? So I am on dev version with VNAV and this will use the same ? Looks very interesting, now I can essentially have 4 FBW planes 🙏🏻

Are the mods available to download from the marketplace, for use on the Xbox Series X? I have download and I am using the LVFR A319. But that horizon mod would be excellent. Though I’m not sure if it’s available on Marketplace. 🤔

Whats your settings with the thrustmaster in lvfr 321?

Hi I have followed you since I installed 2020 three years ago so thank you for all the info you have supplied to all your followers and myself. I have a problem which is driving me mad. for some reason the spoilers and the flaps will not operate from the console. I have tried many ways to correct it to no success, please can you help. Baz

By the way, JetBlue also has a scheduled service to and from Heathrow from Boston and a few other locations.

hello there, how do you get the tablet in the A320?

Is auto rudder assistance option compatible?

Why does the EFB not have a v speed calc? Or have I somehow missed this? I have the a318, a319, a321, and a330. Added the horizon mod, but im left without the ability to see v speeds on a preflight calc page.

The Horizon Mod uses the Flybywire avionics which are great, however they do not have a takeoff calculator available.

Have you tried the A319? For me, the cockpit camera seems to be pointing too much towards the sky. It’s as though the nose wheel is too high

Not needed by me. I like the Latin VFR just like they are. If I want the complications added by this mod, I can fly the Fenix or FBW.

I think it's a great idea, however it some people may find that paying money for an aircraft that you have to mod with freeware to make it playable is not a good idea. I would buy this aircraft, but fenix is currently making the a321 so I may buy the lvfr a319 and get the fenix a321

Yep…..I’m in that bracket. Good job by Horizon making a payware aircraft flyable by modding with freeware but come on LVFR! Not for me! I’ll wait for Fenix like others here.

I’ve done a few transatlantic flights in the Fenix 320! Basically I couldn’t wait, & Fenix is all I fly. LHR-JFK I have to scenery for both, so why not! I loaded a plan into sim brief, so long as you take 30 to 40 passengers max, and no cargo. You’re good to go fuel wise, as long as you choose to have no alternate. Don’t get me wrong, this clearly isn’t legal in the real world! But for the sim, it’s fine. One caveat, you will have to input the flight plan, manually, as the MCDU refuses to up link such a flight plan. Other than that, grab your visa! You and your Fenix are good to go 🇺🇸 (and this was with a head wind!) arrived with just under 3000 kgs of fuel remaining.

I think the FBW systems need to be integrated into any airbus A3XX aircraft released for MSFS. The systems are just on point and the others just seem to be extremely lacking without the FBW systems

Great work to bring fbw into those planes but i won’t buy it! It’s because i want a complete add on. I don’t want to download 3 other mods to make one add on really good any flyable, it’s just not what i expect from a airliner add on …

I wish I could fly it with the add on from horizon but I’m an Xbox user 🥴

I was just flying the a319 with the horizon mod and got to say I am now thinking about not buying the new fenix a319/a320 pack because these are very good competitors!

Why turn LVFR airplanes into FBW? FBW A320 is available and good. Besides, we lose the interior cabin vies with animated passengers with these mods. The animated passengers helped to distinguish LVFR from other A320 with no custom cabins. FBW and stock A320 from Asobo, shamefully are less immersive outside of the additional technical features.

Because its flight simulator not flight attendant simulator. Most of us care about a realistic flight model and want it as close to the real aircraft as possible. That means less resources put into looking in the cabin at passengers. Ask any real pilot how much time they spend looking around the cabin while they are flying the plane. Its probably between 0 and 0%

@@jacksonodell637 You are clearly a fan of MSFS, so trust me, I get it. I have 600 hours in the simulator, mostly on jets like the A320. My point is that FBW has an amazing A320 neo already, and I fail to see the point in turning LVFR models into FBW. Again, once this mod is added, what additional value is added, other than the A318 and A319. It basically turns the LVFR into FBW, with no discernible, visual difference once inside the cockpit. The added cabin views were the distinguishing factors for me, as well as the sound of the engine. Most importantly, however, is the fact that the LVFR models are easier on resource use and so they are less prone to stuttering that I sometimes experience in FBW during VR flights. Again, I am not knocking FBW, I am asking what is the point of this mod.

Okay I think I misunderstood your initial point then. I dont see the points of the A319 or A320 either especially when we have the Fenix A320 with A319 and A321ceo on the way. However I do see a benefit of the A321neo and A321LR. Now if you are someone who wants the A320/A319 but is a casual simmer who doesnt want to dive into the Fenix then I understand why they would buy from LVFR and care about this mod. I dont wish to judge those people because if they cared about "realism" then they would just buy the Fenix. Trust me I am scratching my head as well but there is activity on discord and the likes from people who are WILLINGLY flying the A320 from LVFR when the Fenix is available... Also I am flying the LVFR A321neo with the Horizon mod right now and my cabin is there with the passengers. I dont care about it but it is there. I normally turn off the cabin in Fenix as well anyways. @@gervanwilliams1409

Makes sense. Although, can you clarify that your A321 still had the LVFR cabin with passengers after installing the mod? I've installed the Horizon mods to all planes A321, 319 and A318, and none have a cabin. It's all minimal, with luggage and landing gears shown, not the LVFR cabin with passengers. Again, it's no big deal to some, but it was a good touch because I sim in VR, and sitting in a seat as a passenger in VR is exceptionally immersive. In fact, it is quite realistic@@jacksonodell637

Let's just say there are people who buy MSFS because they come to the SIM to be immersed. From a pilot "wanna be" to watching a flight attendant press a button to get ready to serve coffee. There is something for everyone. It's not MOST people, it's your personal feelings.... which are nonexistent to how others feel. Long story short my friend is money spends the same way. I admit Latin VFR is very immersive in the True to life visual aspect. I am not sure about obtaining a degree and career in flying to correct a person who likes LVFR to tell them how to enjoy MSFS@@jacksonodell637 Blue Skies.

I tested the horizon a319 last versión and the lnav path is a mess, the flight path on the ND its a disaster , and the graphics are horrible to see views from the " Windows " to the wings,etc . Very far aeat on mínimas quality like FBB a320neo development model that works great on lnav and vnav and on TOD Mark etc ... but the Horizon A319 last update its very far from the quality of FBW a3NX project... and of course the LatinVR A319 its a total mess ... have you seen the EFP ? Its a crap... Waiting for Fenix a319 and a321 better...

LVFR is a payware? Totally disappointed, I'm just gonna stick with the A32NX. Not everyone has the money for payware stuffs.

So LVFR do a lazy reskin and get bailed out by other peoples free work to make their aircraft usable? No thanks.
