Basically someone has looked at the Korda box and said 'how can we make this but better' 🤣 But fair play as I have the Korda and everything that was pointed out wrong with the Korda box I agree with! Also your dividers look stronger than the Korda ones which keep popping out of mine

Congratulations Fox! This box is very reliable to have all the small useful accessories and the tools in same time at hand. One of the advantages of this box is the fact that it closes with clips NOT magnets. A small space gained inside. The panel with the small compartments for accessories, hooks, clips, are very useful. Another advantage would be if Fox releases a similar box, but those small compartments inside the lid to be a little deeper. The slightly thicker lid and deeper compartments, I think it would be an added advantage in addition to the existing one.

Box looks great. As technology develops we improve on exciting products. Sign of a good company. Cheers

The copy cat game between Fox and Korda is hitting the next level. Honestly I dont think there is a downside for us in all this. For us anglers it would only be stupid if both firms would stop bringing out innovations and rather copy everything but thats not the case. It has to be said though that seeing the trusty old Fox tackle box (quote Korda boss) go and being replaced with Korda style is probably the biggest compliment in Kordas company history.

Until the chinese clone the crap out of it. The primary issue with the box is the steep markup for what is effectively just cheap injection molded plastic.

Conversation was more like how can we make a tackle box that is better than anything currently on the market. By looking at our own ones and those from other companies we were able to identify many areas for improvement, which gives anglers like yourself a better end product. If products were not developed and no evolution took place, we'd still be sleeping on blow up beds when fishing

I think the original fox box system is the best box out. Been using mine over 10 years.

I have ordered my boy this box for Xmas looks a good all round box

Its so different to the stuff i use on long island but its cool to see how fisherman around the globe fish

Still got my old fox one working well but would by that for when I’m river fishing for small stuff I need a new one and that would be the one

I enjoy my course fishing aswel as my carp fishing. When guru bought out the hooklink boxes, everyone commented on the magnets being a pain in the ass for hooks etc sticking to them, you would have thought korda would have learnt from that instead of going and sticking magnets on there tackle box...

@@DunkinBiscuits it sure is about the tackle mate and I bet at least 7 out of 10 people would choose the Korda one. It’s tough durable plenty of room and does exactly what it needs to do 👍 even if you took the logo off it’s still the one I’d choose.

If you prefer the Korda one that’s great I haven’t used it myself so I can’t make a choice of preference yet I’d have to see them both but it would boil down to things like strength, size and price and if they are basically both the same then I’d choose the one with the lid that doesn’t flip down the back personally

I would of bought this had it been available when i bought my Korda one. I do use the rig safe in mine but usually just for chod's as like the guy said, if the rig is too long they tend to get trapped

Wow some of these comments. Im not associated to any tackle company but i was there at Farlows when this was filmed. Firstly pretty much everyone has a Korda box, its not like Mozza went arround woth a Korda box and asked people to slag it! It just so happend most people had a corda box to compare it too. As for Korda being bigger than Fox, id take a look at company turn over, i think you will find Fox are the biggest fishing takle company, by a long long way! Fox turn over 63.5 million Korda turn over 32.2 million Fox net assests 43.7 million Korda net assets 20 million Fox has led the way with tackle boxes for many many years, before Korda even existed, Korda came out with a better box than the old Fox box so everyone got that one. Fox pulled their finger out and updated their box, of cause they will look at the number one selling box, its called business! Is the fox box good, yes Is it better than the Korda one, yes Will i buy one to replace my Korda one? NO Would i buy it if i was in the market for a new box - yes

I want this box as the Korda one is quite poorly made.. the inside section covers are crap and bend easily and stuff starts getting into other compartments.. even though a direct copy this one looks way better made

That bloke puts his pliers in the compartment dead opposite the magnet then moans that it picks them up! Haha own goal there, easily resolved. I do agree tho that rig boards pointless for most anglers. Those compartments on the fox box do look abit stiff to open i noticed there is a video purely showing people how to open them which always is a concern meaning there have been a few complaints.

Next up ngt for a tenner same as haha not good tackle haha

@@fox_international it's got to be over 25years old along with my fox bivvy table, and still going strong.

Tackle companies should do this more often with prototypes and let real anglers get their hands on it for feedback. I see all the time products released and wonder who the field testers are, with so many products released with issues.....do the field testers actually critique the gear or just tell ckmpanies what they want to hear to keep em sweet?

What I would be interested in is when Fox will finally develop something innovative again instead of copying and sticking on the logo. Don't think a company like Fox needs it as they have proven in the past that they can do better. Ridgemonkey, ND Tackle, Nash, Hammer and Co. are leading the way and outranking you in terms of ideas. There has to be more than a box without rigboard and clips.

There are considerable improvements on any other box on the market. We aim to constantly make new products that were better than what was previously available and that is what we have done with this box.

@@fox_international Don't get me wrong, I use a lot of Fox products. And there are some that are SIGNIFICANTLY different from other manufacturers. But unfortunately I also have to say that there are many products from the past that have made FOX what the brand is all about. You can't always reinvent the wheel and products have to be improved. The improvement of a product results from past dissatisfaction. But this product has nothing to do with FOX Box. This is improving the products of the competition. Repainting a pink Bentley black is not an innovation. And Fox doesn't need that.

Innovative? There's only so much innovation that can be done at a time. As consumers we do not lose out with 2 of the biggest fishing company looking at each others designs and taking the best features and improving on the ones that need improving. They can't just bring out a whole new tackle box completely different to the Korda one when Korda have absolutely knocked it out of the park with their existing box. There's a reason the majority of us have korda tackle boxes. Fox would be stupid to ignore it.

Fox have just copied and maybe improved on the korda box, the lads are bigging it up as they think they might be given it as a freebie 😀

Far too small a box for me. I hate the tiny little partitions to try and get things out of and wonder if every manufacturers hook length spools will fit or will you be ttied into only Fox spools. I use an old school cheap box with lots of smaller container boxes in and much more storage that cost about a third of what this will. I part with money for things that I think are worth it but both this and the Korda box do nothing for me. That being said, they will both appeal to others as all of our requirements are different although I can't help feeling that everything is just a slight variation of something that is already on the market with no real innovation being made at all.

Must’ve taken such a long time to come up with this design. I don’t know how fox do it, constantly bring out these groundbreaking never seen before concepts. 😂😂. To be honest whoever’s in charge of product development must be laughing. All they have to do is wait for Korda or nash to release somthing and then send a pic to China and say whack a picture of a fox on that for us, cheers easy. Whatever happened to innovation ? Is there no pride in fox to come up with somthing original ? No doubt you’ll send a reply stating some bullshit about being different in so many ways.

This looks too fidgety and cheap,I own the original double sided f box and nothing comes close to it,can't imagine how long the lid on this new box will last,all thise little sections for swivels etc don't look like they'll be working very long,oh well the masses will be rushing to the tackle shops en mass and chucking money at em like muppets,I'll stick to my original that's lasted years n years n still mint
