@mysticstrider Jordan’s vocals sound horrendous. He’s out of of breath. Out of key . Over compensating for lack of energy from the crowd, trying to get people hyped up. Missed guitar licks / riffs. This stuff is not easy to play. Their age is beginning to show , and they are having a hard time keeping up with one another. Sure the spirit is still consistent, but the sound is not compared to what I’m used to hearing from them.

Jordan relies on the crowd to fill in on vocals. It’s not good. I think they’re doing this to pay the bills. They didn’t play some of their classics like Dressed To Kill or Sincerely Me.

Who is that filling in on guitar? Any idea?

if the 2 above me watched the set, both guys play during this show - Dan plays the first half, Kevin the 2nd... then Dan comes back out the last one

One of my favorite things about NfG was they always changed their set, and now they don’t. They even used to play more album tracks vs singles and sometimes didn’t even write a setlist, just came out and winged it and asked the crowd what they wanted to hear. Shame now they play the same singles in the same order.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@jamesreed6152nah man, id say since Covid they became a rehearsed boring band. Pre-Covid they’d come to Chicago like 6 times a year and 4 of those shows would be small venues and a rare set. One time they even played from 1 to 3 in the morning at a bar downtown, like that is something out of the ordinary for them. Was really cool, now they a gay rehearsed boring band.

I am positive they don't need a third guy in back on guitar. Too much noise

They were having a lot of issues. It was the first night of the tour and a truck had broke down so they were running late. You could tell they were rushing to get things set up. The bands didn’t get to sound check. It did sound off but it is understandable.

It has to be the mix.. I've seen em a shit load of times.. never have I heard Jordan sound like a chipmunk

@@darbs3168 pretty sure it had something so do with the sound crew. The show started late as hell because the sound people screwed up something. The get up kids and starting line got screwed pretty hard.

@@darbs3168 well I’ve heard him sound like this multiple times and it’s not a good sound singing like 3 notes above the original and it can’t be the mix it’s a live performance unless you have like auto tune but most people just have reverb on thier voice so he’s doing it himself idk why cuz I’m a singer and they don’t mix my vocals just alittle reverb and make sure all the instruments are good and you can hear everyone
