@@xobx_3265 even if it was, you'd need crazy slots to make it work for an ethiron build, as m1 dmg is the best way to kill him. This also makes run it back a bell that you are unable to gain, which then slows down the run. Basically, bad trade off even if it did exist.

Firfire is meant to be dark but if you're really concerned just use a miner helmet or have your gamma turned up

Game was only pvp updates for ages, layer 2 dropped and i thought they were finally paying attention to most the playerbase and adding more pve. Nuh uh after layer 2 it was pure pvp. Game is made well but its got a toxic community and a severe lack of pve content.

It's not really fading away. Ram is still doing runs but hasnt been able to replicate a slam dunk, and we're kind of starting to think its patched. But theres still hope and I think neb's record is very beatable.

Could you show the build and what you should pick for talents and what you need to spend your points in at first?

can you elaborate on what happens at 0:57? I get that it's bad map design or wtvr but are you clipping through a wall? because there's no obvious gap in the wall to firfire

There is, it's just that the area is black so it's hard to see. When he's passing through (0:59),u can see that there's a hole there, as only the left side of the screen is blue, and the right part is the ignition union base rocks during the skip. If he just clipped immediatly, all of the screen would be blue.

new one from the update, it only tps you and voids you light hook, and doesnt allow you to take floor 1 loot with you. It's only good in a context like this where you can clip through a wall.

i feel like you could make this a lot faster using lengthmaxxing

yeah, one of the big reasons why this kinda sucks to run. If you fail a wavedash in library, or fail a run it back, you just gotta persist since you cant light hook out

no because you only get prog for the oath when using the light hook that SPAWNS after you beat ethiron/chaser

@@Destroyer-Man-III quite the opposite, umbral knight is meta for bosses due to its pve scaling bug. I can kill ethiron by just 4 umbral knight proc which making 0 cycle possible, just need to be lucky with rng

what else would i use?? its an ethiron run i need something for damage, and you also now have to get 75 shadowcast post shrine so I'd be wasting 75 points while still having to spend 100 points on heavy to have enough to kill ethiron.

0:54 deepwoken devs on the way to completely ignore the countless holes in their maps (they're so easy to find, and 90% of the time just deathtraps)

wasnt macroing at the time i made this, and it was just a quick run. Will macro if i redo this run, but my next video where i do macro will probably be a normal skipless ethiron speedrun as lengthmaxxing without lighthook can be deadly.

@@Matthafford i think it's probably possible to just do a very long lengthmax to the puzzle room or the skip teleporter even. im not sure if the teleporter even works without activating the room though, because previously the only way to get to it without the puzzle was with wind passage noclip tech and it just teleported you somewhere near chaser at the time even without doing the puzzle

@@l_ilia The only requirement for the portal to open is having been to f2 before and doing puzzle, so lengthmaxxing would be impossible without like a 15 second run it back. And even then, it'd be tight. The lengthmaxxing i was thinking about was to teleport inside ignition base faster

@@Matthafford I see, I’m not sure then because you used to be able to just bypass the puzzle completely but I guess they changed it to make it more of a cool side quest rather than just “I got to floor 2 in 30 seconds by bypassing the entire dungeon”
