The story with the Anaconda was riveting, I was hanging onto his every word. He is a very brave man to have gotten into the snakes domain just to get some awesome shots for us to see. Michael is an amazing Aquarist, he shows his true passion for fishkeeping. We will be checking out his content for sure.
Mike you couldn't have picked a better home for your fish. Kenan is soooooo good to all living things, and every animal wants to live at the Kamp! 🙂 Kenan keep doing your good and spreading your passion and knowledge of animals!🙂🙂

Its also really good for his fishes genetics when they start spawning. Hes going to have even hardier fish!
I liked the way your guest talked, telling his stories. Reminds me of my uncle, when i was a young kid visiting my uncle's house and backyard. Always filled with animal life too. He used to talk like your guest.
Love this about animal loving communities where the peeps aren’t all about the money, caring for the animal is #1 and they love to share their experiences and animals, cheers Mike, good man
Very interesting person, and he cares deeply about his fish. They will have a great home in your pond.
My dad used to have a african cichlid tank and we used to just stare into it for hours cause these fish are just so beautiful. But unfortunately about like 15 years ago he passed away when I was a child and the tank unfortunately went away with him. But one day I told myself I would get a tank and remake it in his memory.

Good luck buddy. Keep your dad's memories alive and cherish them. 👍
Enjoyed this very much, especially when noticing how much Michael cares about his animals.
Man has 4000 dives that is next level !
Lake Malawi is amazing. Different fish species surrounded by wildlife and crystal clear water. Spent 17 years there and visit almost every year. If you have the chance you need to see this paradise.
Should invite him back to swim with slinky

That pond is great! You need some live pond feeds of underwater and above water, so we can watch those beautiful fish swim around.
The pond is looking awesome. The new fish too.
👍Beautiful fish pond. Beautiful fish. Thanks for shating. Please share another video when these fish have grow. 🐟 I agree as well, that pond would be more fun to swim in than a swimmingpool anyday. Following, I enjoyed watching this video 🎥👍
I love how a lot of people trust Kean with living in his outdoor environment. Love seeing and knowing new people that are into this things.
They are gorgeous!! Very nice of Michael to gift these "boys" to you, Kenan.

So nice of him to give “Keenan” these fish. He didn’t seem too thrilled at Kenan feeding them turtle food

Great video. Bet the fish are going to be really happy in the pond! About the anaconda encounter: I live one state away from Bonito, it's a beautiful place and well known for the amazing wildlife. Each time I listen to a new story of an anaconda encounter like this, my will to visit this place gets bigger! Really hope I get to see one of these amazing animals in the wild soon
Love watching your channel from Australia
Those are some gorgeous fish Kenan! What a great addition!
Wonderful additions for the pond and new friend for the Kamp. I have bookmarked Michael's website and will share it with my students when school resumes.

Wow i really love it😍😍😍💓
Always loved cichlids and had quite a few over the years but very nice 👍 beautiful additions truly amazing 🙌
So nice to see fish going into a realistic home, I keep 5 tanks but no cichlids cuz they're so aggressive, but this much space is amazing.
Hey Kenan! I have been a huge fan of your channel for a while now. I admire the love that you have for animals and your passion for educating us viewers. I was wondering if you could do a video interviewing the Mrs. about the animals that you all care for. Y'all have a beautiful family dynamic and I think it's cool when her and kids get involved.
Love the passion
These cichlids are soo Beautiful

I owned African cichlids years ago and they ate all my ghost shrimp, several species of fish and my crab. Awesome fish but I was unaware of their behavior. 😂

Hey kenan! You could get a few types of plecos for the pond. They'll hide but once they grow, they'll look gorgeous. Plus they'll go well with the cichlids.
Very interesting guy seen a lot of really cool stuff. Cheers from down under everyone 🦘🦘🦎
Have more stories from this guy‼️‼️

New fish. Ooh
this guy is doing what i want to do a underwater photographer and wildlife
I keep an alligator snapper just to cull my African cichlids I've had him since half dollar size and he eats well with 25+ tanks all peacocks and haps
A snake gets an occasional fish, Slinky gets an occasional snake! See, circle of life?
I contacted my school principal and science dept admin to encourage them to have Michael come speak! Apparently, he gets the highest ratings from all the schools he visits, as their favorite speaker!

Dare I say "baked" fish. Lmao great video as always !!!!
Anacondas are definitely not afraid, they are also very curious snakes. You can definitely see she's in blue ( hahaha molting lol)
@IrieRogue
3 жыл бұрын
Moulting/molting is indeed the proper term
maybe some new plants and species in the pond too? like some dwarf sag or something. you can cover it with a mesh for a month to get it to start carpeting without the fishes gobbling it up. then some shrimps and such for some more biodiversity.
I LOVE the blue colors!!! I'm in NC. What is the lowest temperature the water can get for these fish? I have a koi pond outside but I'm guessing the water would get too cold for these fish. THANKS!!
That will never ever be me diving with that Anaconda.😱

Watching this makes me want a breeding group of copadichromis borleyi kadango again.
The fact that he wet his hand before reaching into the water to grab a fish made me spit my coffee! 😂 That was hilarious.
@Saturn-Matrix

To handle a fish you need wet hands so you don't damage their mucus membrane. His hand got wet anyways but it's good information
It's funny you say they are like reef fish. From what I understand the dominant theory is that lake malawi was an inland ocean that was cut off and eventually became freshwater. Hence why so.many of the fish are so colorful and crevice dwelling there
I like that guy
You need some Xtreme , north fin , or Ron's cichlid food. I breed and raise African cichlids 25+ tanks and 4 IBC totes and the 5lb. tubs from Xtreme are great for my 375g tote grow outs
It’s funny how people say they have to get their hands wet before handling fish right before they stick their hands into a bucket of water to grab the fish. Like your hands dont get wet when you reach into the bucket to grab the fish
the man looked upset when you give him turtle food
