Love seeing people react to Got7! Thank you so much! I think you’ll love them since you like the r&b sound. Their title tracks are pretty iconic although I have to tell you their title tracks are a mixed bag of different sounds/genres. It’s their bsides that definitely show off their signature r&b style more (especially ones in recent years). If you’re planning to react to more Got7 content I would strongly recommend all of their solo works and subunits. There’s a minimum standard you can expect from them. You’ll never get bored watching them I assure you that atleast 😁

I love that you noticed Jay B's voice uniqueness. For me the top 3rd Gen is Got7. Really should check out Lullaby, Not by the Moon and If You Do. Also Never Ever and the live version in kcon 2017. So happy to see that you enjoyed this song so much. Got7 are a really special group to me and I just kind of see people passing them over a lot. Within kpop fandom a lot of people kind of just know them as a funny/memey group and don't take them seriously but they are all really talented and really creative, almost all of them write & compose music, they've all contributed to lyrics over the years, Jinyoung IS in fact an award-winning actor, etc etc. I could talk about them all day I'm just really happy to see their music being appreciated so earnestly.

Martial art tricking is like doing flip etc martial art but use it on choreography (?), they used to do this kind of choreography on earlier songs especially mark and jackson, mostly they do martial art tricking on some special stage performance. Yesh stan got7!! They not going anywhere ~ They might comeback anytime soon 😏🙌 All of them signed to different company, but all company agreed and support got7 activity as a group 🙌 Waiting for more got7 reactionn~

Park Jinyoung - dive He is the lead vocalist of the group born in 1994 and he is Korean . He is an actor too (some of his kdramas: he is psychometric, the devil judge, yumi’s cell). Youngjae - Vibin’ Main vocalist, Korean and born in 1996. He also will be doing another kdrama playing the main role. The way you watching this m/v like at true ahgase and rewinding like 100x 😆because 1. Jinyoung attacking with his handsome face 2. Jinyoung falsetto and the funky guitar 3. Jackson doing what the fuck was that in the choreo 4. Jackson deep voice coming out of nowhere (you should watch Teenager performance video Jackson part always give me chills) 5. being Jb-bias as soon as you hear his voice. Recognizing he be doing the most when he's dancing. Like for real calm down JayB. But, seriously Got7 is the "that" group. They are all real artists who produce, write and create choreo. Besides being exceptionally talented they are so entertaining. They are all funny and charismatic. I have laughed until I cried watching some of their content.

Hell yeah these are my guys!! I listened to GOT7 alone for about a year before getting into K-pop, but that wasn’t purposeful. An online-friend posted about them quite a bit, so I watched one of the videos she shared one day, and I said, “wtf why are they putting out music that sounds like shit I listened to in the 90s-early 00s??” And she said, “that is basically their style; varied r&b/pop.” So I was sold. Several months later, out of curiosity, I pulled up a Kpop Spotify playlist and shuffled it. A few songs in I hear “4 Walls” by f(x), a couple other cool tracks, and that’s when I decided I needed to actively seek out more Kpop music. Earliest discoveries~ were MAMAMOO and the freshly debuted ONF and SF9. The first big [non-GOT7] song addiction I had was “Signal” by TWICE. Or maybe NCT U’s “The 7th Sense.” I heard both around the same time. Those two and GOT7’s “A” were my most played for a while. :)

To be honest i recommend you all their music 'cause they've been working on it almost since debut and almost all the tittle tracks were composed by Jay B. 7 for 7 is one of my favorite albums and also the first one were all the songs were composed by them. I so love people getting in group because of acting of Jinyoung and Youngjae. Both are great actors. They left jyp in January 2021 because agency has been mistreated them for years, after leaving all seven members are signed with different agencies as well they signed a trial contract under Warner music as a group. They even realeased a single 'Encore' in February 2021 under Warner music. So don't worry they are just built different, they ain't going anywhere

When kpop groups leave their company they don't automatically disband. They just have to jump through legal hoops for a year or two before making a group comeback typically. Shinhwa (the longest running kpop group) set the precedence for this when they left SM, fought a huge legal battle to get rights to their name/fanbase/etc, and then formed their own company. It's now easier for the younger groups to follow in their footsteps. JayB, who is currently handling the legal hoops, has said that GOT7 is planning a group comeback in the next two years, so you don't have to be too sad. It just gives you time to catch up on everything they've ever put out. lol

Martial arts tricking is flips and tricks like cartwheels, black flips and ect with martial art elements. I hope that makes sense there’s compilations of both Mark and Jackson doing it and they also did it in special performances for live stages and ect. All members except Jinyoung have real tattoos and ect so yeah. Jay B took his piercing out because his parents asked 😂. GOT7 IS STILL TOGETHER. They are even talking about coming back next year so be on the lookout you came at the perfect time to check them out.

They met up 5 out 7 recently to surprise Youngjae at his solo fan meeting for his solo album COLORS. So yeah and they had Jackson on a video call when they met him so we’re close to seeing all 7 together soon.

This track is criminally underrated because it was so ahead of its time. (And also because of JYPE capping GOT7 but let’s not go there 😃) if I hadn’t been a stan already YCMN would’ve done it for me.

I really liked that you will love this song. And what can I say about them, they are amazing. Just as a recommendation I have seen that you like vocals, BTOB is one of the groups that you would like, They've gone into ballads but they have great songs, solos and subunits.

They’re also known to be super friendly and appreciated in the industry, like everybody knows them and likes them due to them being super down to earth and funny and like chill, they’re one of the few groups that don’t give a shit about the idol image so they’re always chillin burpin cursing and make some dirty jokes 😂. FYI they all left the company last year but they’re still a group, they all signed to different agencies or created their own but they are still a group and mentioned it several times, their solo labels are actually aware and support the fact that they’re having solo activies but agreed to them doing group work whenever they want to. They also now own their group name and they also apparently got back the logo too, jayb ( the leader) stated a couple of months ago that he was negotiating their catalog with their old agency so they can perform their old songs and stuff. Both Jayb and yugyeom singed each to jay park’s labels. Jayb signed to H1GHR MUSIC and yugyeom to AOMG so they often meet up, even with the other members and they post often. Jackson owns his own label but signed a partnership with the label Youngjae signed so whenever Jackson is in Korea they see each other a lot. Mark went back to the US and created his own label but plans to come back to Asia since he’s been super asked In Taiwan/ China to act and stuff but JYPE used to refuse any requests he got. Bam bam signed also to a company and Jinyoung too that supports both of his acting and music, even tho he is more focused on acting currently since again JYPE refused A LOT of roles for him he is catching up, he actually appeared as one of the most demanded actor in 2021.( highly suggest you to check out his dramas and movies he’s super good) Also highly suggest you to check out more of their songs as a group, there’s a looooot, and their live performances as they’re known to be one of the best performers of Kpop and of course their solo work. Their style is as you seen super rnb which gets them very often disgregarded in Kpop and Korea in general since it doesn’t sound like « regular » Kpop, but that’s what makes them super unique especially if you appreciate rnb with some retro vibes. They indeed perform you calling my name with Jayb on the floor singing it’s impressive lol. Sorry for the long ass essay but hope it was informative.
