The time has now come and this Easter saw the opening of the new Butlins Fairground in Skegness Resort. Lead by a UK first new ride, Eclipse, this is also joined by a Swing and Orbiter drop tower.
Along with the Santa Fe Express old favourites also return to the fairground, including:
Rockin' Tug
Waltzer
Paratrooper
Carousel
Galaxy
Go Karts
This is a mjor investment for Butlins and the Skegness resort, hopefully this will be roller out to the other resorts over the next couple of years.

Hi UK Theme Parks epic video i am so glad thay kept the Galaxy that is my favorite ride wow the four new rides look awsome i love the Eclips looks awsome the funy thing is i found a pic of the same type of ride long before the one in butlins came it reminds me of a Nebulaz the way it moves it looks awsome i must say the faiground looks great

It is a Zamperla I think it is based off the nebulaz, Kurt said its running a little slow at the moment but the whole project looks awesome
When I was younger I used to go to butlins, back then the Galaxy was called the Mexican hat and the paratrooper ride was called the umbrellas
I used to go there when I was younger

Ok but like does anyone know the sizes of the seats for the orbiters,super swing and eclipse 😂😅😊
Is Skegness the best Butlins to visit? It has the most history to it because it was first ever Butlins Camp and it opened in 1936.

I think it depends what you want, always found Minehead quieter, good pool and local natural beauty. If you want past paced, shopping and theme parks then Skegness. Can't see Bognor fitting either.

I have visited the Butlins in Bognor Regis and it has an amazing indoor water park. Loads of famous people have performed at Butlins, Skegness over the decades; Laurel and Hardy, The Beatles, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. There also used to be a monorail at Butlins, Skegness and you can still have your photograph taken in one of the original monorails cars.

Billy Butlin loved his Butlins Holiday Camp and used to spend a lot of time there.
