Pop down to Lidl and get their ski wear. Save your money. A bit too warm for roving. But since most carp anglers stay put especially in winter. They're perfect. A jacket and trousers for under £50. They even have a black camo option for the tarts. Similar to the Fox Rage Jackets. Or pay extra for a tackle brand logo.

awilderireland - There's also Amy and Navy and plenty of camping shops too.I've been going all year round for decades,piking in the winter. I bought my waterproofs in a local camping shop and they do fine.Lets face it most folk when it's raining are under their brolly or in their bivvy.

@@AmyWinehouse9and14. Yes. I got a cheap pair of Salopettes years ago from a bargain rack in a Black's store. Better made than most or all fishing brands. Let's face it tackle companies largely copy from general outdoor or hiking clothing but charge more to anglers. Often the general outdoor brands are better quality anyway. As they specialise in clothing only. You and I can see through them. 😂

Really like this line of clothing, you mention that the thinner jacket is a large in this video...what size are the trousers and thicker jacket you're wearing as I'm of a similar build to yourself and it's good to see what they look like being worn. Thanks

ive been carping 35 years , and use to go all winter, a simple layer system , with a thin quality waterproof outer is the best , and a lightweight poncho in reserve stashed away

Always makes me laugh listening to HH specs from angling clothing companies - 10,000mm HH is a minimum requirement to be called waterproof!

@@Rene8700 wow, I might have thought it would as been the same here in the UK. Garments here with a HH of 10,000 are considered not that hard wearing. I am sure the Goretex jacket I have is in the twenties!

Look nice it's just extreme price .

Looks good but the zips to the pockets in the trousers look quite short and awkward to get your hand in.

Shame it’s so expensive l will stick to my army issue goretex suit as it’s also camo but costs far less 😜

If it's breathable it's not waterproof - it's water resistant to a certain saturation point

More chinese nash trash crap. My last ones leaked like a sieve and fell to bits after 3 trips. Never buy fishing branded clothing again.
