Personally I don't mind the fact that the quest requires two people. The only issue is being socially anxious so working up the courage to communicate by mic is hard sometimes.. At least in a raid I can hide in the background until addressed but in small groups it just feels akward in my opinion. Specially with lfg groups. Don't have friends to play the game with so usually match with new groups when grinding for end game gear which either goes horribly and other times surprisingly well. But if bungie so happens to change it in a way that is more solo friendly, I wouldn't say no...

If it wasn't a core part of the expansion that was heavily marketed I wouldn't care. As a fellow social anxiety sufferer, having such a major component hard blocked from solo players who have already paid for the expansion is pretty crappy of bungie.

I currently don't own the expansion but I do play the game, only thing I can really do is strikes lol. I'm a pretty friendly person if you ever wanna play and do some strikes cause I'm kinda under powered rn to do anything else 😅

As someone who is deaf and plays console this hits hard. I can’t use a mic because headphones and headsets interfere with my implant and text to chat is abysmal on consoles.

I hated the fact I needed a mic, but gave it a try just using text chat until we got the the last clocks part. It cycled too fast so had to end up using voice chat but literally only for a few seconds to call out our matching number. Sucks for people with disabilities tho

Gotta love how it devolved into a PvP match at the end

I ain't doing it. I'm having a ball with my triple turret build. Might be reduced to two if I can figure out what works. Problem is that everything does. Once I get my abilities up and running devour takes over and pretty much fuels me. But I do need to pick a super. I'm thinking stasis since I may ditch my stasis turret.
