Yeah they retooled and rebranded the Staris, looks much better.

I just bought a 50 inch residential exmark. It was new, but I noticed rust on the muffler after my first use. Is this a big deal or am I being OCD?😂

If the pivoting front axle has all those benefits on the aeroater then why not put in onto the mowers and stand on’s?

what about making one for the short and very large homeowner. Needs a 36" bench seat. 48" cut. Super heavy-duty frame for the fat guy on the go or in a recliner. and finally one that I dont need to take out a 2nd mortgage on to buy it

Brian love your videos and seeing all the new technologies coming out! I do have to ask this question though. Rather than companies continually coming out with new products why are companies not focusing on ways to make better quality products that are more reliable and keep the price down instead of focusing on features? I like Toro and exmark products, but, it seems like people have problems with the grandstands all the time now. It just seems like all the companies keep complicating the mowers now. Sure all the features are cool and they do save some time, but there is also way more things that break on them. For example, I have 2 older mowers a 2004 toro proline 44" with velke, a 2004 Hustler Fasktrak. Neither have all the bells and whistlers on them, but they never let me down and they both produce an excellent cut quality. Just as good as any of the newer 15 to 20k machines. Both have grass catchers as well. These mowers are easy to work on too. The older hustlers and toros just keep going and going and a lot of people knock the Kolher engines but both of mine are still going strong with original engines. I don't feel like any of the companies make their products as good as they did in the early 2000's. I honestly dont see how people are continually buying these new machines with their cost every few years and be making any money.

I mean I’m not sure what to say on this one. Everyone’s making the best they can and keeping the price as reasonable as they can. They’re in business to make profit too. Only thing you can do is raise your rates, because complaining about it isn’t going to solve anything. If that makes sense.

I get that and I understand everyone has to make profit both the companies and us. The issue is the prices are rising quicker than you can sometimes raise prices on customers. I think if you're a larger company and have the money by all means buy the newer equipment. Let's face it we all like new equipment/innovation. My thing is I don't like to finance anything or be in debt so just being honest with you here. That is why I say the prices are to high. I only pay cash. So I tend to buy used equipment and work on it since I know how to and run the machines into the ground basically. However, I watch a lot of your videos and I like the newer equipment especially for warranty purposes but I'd have to take on far to much debt up front at this point in my company. It's kind of a soap box I've been on lately because I've seen a lot of companies around me finance the newest and best machines and then they get themselves into financial trouble and go bankrupt. There has been more lawn companies go out of business around me than I can count lately. Companies who shouldn't be are basically financing mowers they keep them 2 years and then sell them due to a theoretical yield of hours of when they "might" have issues. Then they go back finance again and buy new and they get into this perpetual debt cycle. My point in all this is you don't need new equipment to start a business or even in the first few years. Buy what you can cash. Then when you can get the new equipment. I just get this sense in the lawn care community that people especially in Facebook groups are having this competition of who has the newest and most expensive equipment. This just irks me for some reason. Sorry for the rant...lol.
