Wonderful review Abby! I got a sample pack from Ex Nihilo and ironically thought this one, Iris P. would be the sample I would not like. Turns out it is the standout fragrance in the sample pack. I'm addicted to it. I find your description 100% on par with how it wears on my skin. This scent is absolutely stunning. I will definitely be getting a FB. LOVE IT💖 You are lovely.

Late to the party, but just got a sample of this fragrance and will definitely get a full bottle. It is beautiful. I got too late to buy Iris Dragees (Maison Lancôme) that it is currently discontinued. Iris Porcelana reminds me so much of Iris dragees. Better get it while I can. Love my new ultra feminine Irisss from Xerjoff (powdery, delicately sweetened iris with woodsy overtones) and airy, unapologetically chic Iris Torrefie. This sounds really nice! I like the sound of the layered fragrances as well. I've never tried anything from Ex Nihilo, but I did like the Prada Iris one a few years ago and it sounds similar. One of my bath soaps is Iris milk from Santa Maria Novella, and I grow them, so it's one of my favorite flowers. I imagine the iris they used in this is quite exceptional as it's definitely not a mass market scent. Love your nails and sweater coordinating, even with the visual of the notes!

I’ve been eying this one on the Saks site, but went with one of their newer launches fluer narcotique rose de mai also waiting on Veronique Gabri eau de la nuit and and iris torrefie from Guerlain which I fell in love with from a sample they sent with my order of Angelique noir 💕

What a fabulous recommendation you have for us here, Abby! This layering combo is on my list now for February for sure-that mist ticks all my boxes. I have been really enjoying my florals lately and I am completely on board for any and all purple/violet/lilac moods. I have three Ex Nihilos: Viper Green, which I enjoy in hot weather, St Honoré in travel sizes, which I like to carry around in makeup bag in the Fall, and Amber Sky, which is a more recent acquisition that I haven’t actually worn yet-I think it might be a bit too bold for my work (courtroom) and yet I haven’t felt like wearing it at home as I am on the flower power train at the moment. Iris Porcelana sounds like a good work option, and I love the name which conjures up lilac and indigo colored ceramics-heaven. Loved seeing sweet puppy break-my kitties came in for an appearance right at the same time.

YAY!! I was curious about both Viper Green and Amber Sky!! And yes, I am into florals right now too. Which is so funny because I normally love to warm, dense, scents but I am craving florals and spring weather. This Iris Porcelana would be perfect for your work environment! I have a feeling you would like this one- it is gentle and soft - but also just smells good and makes you feel pretty! Not a powerhouse! A nice departure from my normal picks! I love violet scents and this fragrance sounds right up my alley. I like that it has a sandlewood and musk base. It seems to be sold out on the Saks site you listed. Is there anywhere else to get this or possibly a sample?

Sweet Abby, you’re making me want to run out and buy this lovely perfume! It’s making me think of my beautiful mother who recently passed away. Unfortunately I’m here at Saks now Abby and they haven’t got either…🥲. She said they haven’t received it yet….darn. But I am in love with the Killian Rolling In Love! I tried it a while ago and have always loved it. I may treat myself to a bottle for Valentine’s Day. Not sure 🤔. We shall see. I prefer to smell something before buying,….xoxo 😘

This most definitely interests me. I think it’s a perfect sign that my FIRST iris flower bloomed yesterday! I don’t think I need another reason to give it a try. hi Abby , i really like the iris note in this and the Emphasize mist both i bought today. i like the heavier Iris Dior and Aaron Terance Hughes homme and Givenchy Reserve. But the Ex Nihilo has a freshness none of the others have. could you see a guy wearing this maybe high heat summer .

I am interested in purchasing this fragrances as an easy breezy choice in my collection. Fleur Narcotique and Lust in Paradise are the only Ex Nihilos I have so far. I am also interested in picking up Sweet Morphine and Oud Vendome next. Abby, have you tried Venenum Kiss? If so, I would really like to hear your opinion because it is difficult to find information on that one.

Van cleef and Arpels bois d’iris is a great subtle iris, I have also been loving iris shot from olfactive studio and jimmy choo private line iris crush oh and how could I forget iris malikan…definitely a denser iris fragrance

I’ll have to check this out as I’m really in to iris lately. Newer buys have been Maison Crivelli Iris Malikhan and Xerjoff Appolonia. This doesn’t have that iris lipstick/makeup smell, does it? I really dislike that type. I like iris earthier, creamy and buttery. Thanks for the review Abby. I hadn’t even heard of their new release.

This does not have that Lipstick vibe at all! I should have mentioned that. It is really grounded by the sandalwood too! This is your earthier, creamier and buttery IRIS- not the makeupy IRIS. I hope this helps and yes to both your picks above! Classy! xoxo

"Soft" and "not in your face" are an understatement. It is so soft that it s like there is nothing at all. I smell very good where i spray perfumes 1x, the strong ones on my back because otherwice it will be to much, but this... i had to spray 8x and even after that my clothes softener was overpowering the almost non exsisting itis porcelana scent. Yes it does smell elegant, that is if you are able to smell it.. dont expect compliments on this one, nobody will be able to smell it

I found this to have good ALL day longevity but yes- it is a softer fragrance - so not going to be an 'in your face' kind of fragrance. I hope this helps! xoxo

I need to get my nose on that because I am tempted to blind buy it. For me it would be a little more special for a couple of reasons. My sweet mother's name was Iris and her skin was the color of porcelain! the Ex Nihilo fragrances I have are Lust in Paradise, Gold Immortals and Honore Delights. Aww... I love that Tanya! So special! I have a feeling you would love this one. It does not smell like any of the the others above- I have all three of those too! BUT the Honores Delight - has that same soft vibe as the Iris Porcelana but this is not a gourmand scent. This will be an iris powder musk scent. Gentle. Breezy. Pretty. Easy to wear. Smell great. Like you are not trying to hard- you just smell good! I hope that makes sense. This one is super easy to like! I promise I would not steer you the wrong way. LOL!
