As much as McCarthy's run came to a disappointing end in Green Bay, I'm happy he's finding success in Dallas. Like Bill Walsh said, every coach has a shelf life. Mac Jones is a mess. Like, the O-line isnt great, but his instincts are absolutely dreadful. It's not just being the guy after Brady, he makes a number of absolutely devastating mistakes every single game, and a lot of them come from him having one of the worst arms I've ever seen, and constantly trying to make late throws to far parts of the field. Like, I genuinely think Tony Eason would do better with this team - at least he could throw!

In 18 seasons starting for the Patriots 2001-2019 (missed all of 2008) he anchored them to 13 AFCCG and 9 Super Bowl appearances. That’s a mind boggling 72.2 % & 50 % respectively. And every NFL playoff game is an elimination game. Truly a Once in a Lifetime football player and athlete. Thank you 12 🐐 Belichick’s career w/o Tom: 1 playoff win With Tom: 30 playoff wins

I've followed the 'Boys since I was a kid in the 60's. (Still crushes me that J.J. didn't give Tony Romo a decent enough O-Line to enable him to take his team to the "Big Dance"!) I didn't allow myself to gloat post the Giants blowout, and the loss to the Cardinals didn't surprise me in the least. Seems to me that the DEFENSE has been saving Dallas' bacon for quite some time, and sadly, one NEVER knows which "Dak" will show up from week to week!! When the Cowboys are able to dismantle some really GOOD teams, (and especially via a stellar OFFENSIVE performance), I'll show a little more optimism, but until then, I'm not getting the least bit cocky or over-confident regarding "Blowouts" of teams that are subpar, injured, and/or in the rebuilding stages... (Just the opinions of a white-haired old man!!)
