I will try 1500mAh baterrie next time. Really want to see how it will fly with lighter load. I did had to trim a lot of up elevator here.

Amazing the flight time. After 5 minutes I kept saying"Robert, you have to land or waste your battery." I'm impressed. Good job Robert and Blaz excellent job on the camera. I have the 70mm version Habu and felt it was much to slow with the 4s so I changed the motor to a 2300 kv motor and a 2200 mAh battery and it's fast! The hard part is landing because she always comes in hot! CapnMick

Amazing bird Alan.

Perfect flight and landing. Brilliantly filmed. Eeeeowww! This plane would be perfect for the sort of pilot who gets stressed out by massive balsa scrarch built warbirds with 72cc Zenoah petrol engines, expensive spring/air retracts, paint jobs costing ££££ and I don't know what.. They can have maybe just one foam jet for max fun, and this is it. The last pass at full speed was literally AWESOME, as my dear friend from Michegan might put it EEEH!! Top video guys, you deserve beer and Kransky sausage done to perfection. Big salute as ever from London. 👍

Wow that was a thoroughly enjoyable video guys. For a while there was dipsy doodling like something I've never seen before. And I got to hand it to the flying skills of Robert he is really come along as a aerobatic pilot since I've been watching for the last few years and blaises cinematic filming skills are unparalleled. We went the other day, finally I got him to fly something and the bird died after 5m of flying. He did broke the front landing gear and again it was all over. He wanted to fly Tucano. But I have also prepared my gas Mustang and I will also prepare more balsa planes in the future. I just cant get Blaž to fly anymore.

A nice little flyer 🙂. The flight time is something to get used to again, I've just noticed with my glider. After 8-9 minutes, I'm getting irritated, after 12 minutes I'm going crazy 😁 At least your grass is still green. We don't need a tarmac runway, it already is concrete sand 😒 You also might watch out for what is attracted by your "thumpers", it might be a sandworm 😉

On second viewing this Habu really does deserve the praise. But I am particularly struck by Pilot Robert's filming, so I also hope the bike is OK.. I have tried Kransky sausage a couple of times and have found that I can incorporate it into many dishes from all around the world.. Big salute from London 👍

Best thing you can add to any vehicle is lightness.

Great plane to have in your hanger. You guys have not tried slope soaring yet have you? You can fly all day as long as the wind blows up the hill.

With Li-Ion cells I have done multiple 8-min full power runs and 18min flights flying like this. The stock esc will do 4s but needs a lower kv motor like 4000kv.

Do you generally recommend switching to SAFE for landing when available? Sounds like you were doing that here, and I'm thinking there's no reason not too since nobody wants to do aerobatics on the way to the ground.

Hello love your videos! I just had my first 2 flights on my Habu 50mm. I ran a Spektrum 3s 2200 100c. Didn't seem like to far into the flight, around 5 min. The motor started surging. I brought it down and throttled up and it didn't don't while I was holding it. I swapped out the battery for a brand new 3s 2200 50c and within a few minutes it was surging again so I brought it down and throttled up in my hand and it surged and then the esc started beeping? I can't find any specs or a manual for that esc...Does the lipo cutoff surge and beep at you? The dang manual the plane comes with doesn't even say. Just seems like if it is the lvc that I should've got more flight time. I did read cold weather can cause surging and it was about 40 degrees but feels colder with the wind. Again I don't know what the beeping is...What lvc is at on the esc and if it's adjuor not? Like I said there is no manual for the Avian Lite SPMXAE30A esc.

He severely injured his hand in an industrial accident a couple of years ago and has limited use of his thumb and forefinger. The longer stick is easier for him to control. You can view videos from then to see more about it.

Nice one. The long flying time reminds me of my Arrows Viper, which also uses a 50mm EDF and is about the same size and weight, I think. On that one I get 8 minutes or so on a 1500mAh 3S battery.
