Ralph always seemed like a real down-to-earth brother. The best part is there's no showcasing here. No trying to portray a young guy's persona. Just an honest interview. He could have left New Edition many times and left those guys out in the cold as the lead singer, but he was a true team player and a professional. I believe him when he said his portrayal in the movie was the absolute truth. I think he probably put in the most work in terms of keeping the group together.

@@Mr_JRH The timing was probably what messed things up for him the most. When he had the first chance to go solo, he held off for the sake of the group. By the time he did it, Bobby was already starting to get some traction. Ralph definitely took one for the team. If anyone had any reason to be bitter, it would have been him. But the brother always seemed to remain mellow about it.

I totally love Ralph he is so real so humble an all around great guy , a hell of an artist much love to him always

He’s so chill and I love his voice. ❤️

Ralph has been my NUMBER ONE NONSTOP CRUSH/LOVE since 1983, I was 7. It’s 2019 & I will be 43 GOD WILLING this year. I adore him and he’s not perfect (none of us is), but I’m glad he is the gentleman he has always portrayed

I think the interview almost dissing Johnny was not a mature move....bringing Johnny was a smart strategic move... He is one of the 1st in History to come into a group and Slam dunked it... All of them men love each other as brothers and always come bk together. Now That's SUCCESS

I just "Love" Ralph/Rizz, he is very smart man and he's a leader, he's not just a singer with his own albums and he's not just a lead singer of New Edition, but he turned himself into a serious "Business-Man" and a "Star"and the ladies love him everywhere. He makes women feel very special everywhere he go. And he created his own style & swag, even his dancing stands out, and he's still going strong, no wonder his net worth is eight (8) million dollars. And he continues to create things in the group and out. He really stands out in the group N.E, and he makes them shine a little more brighter. Even though they all shine on their own. Ralph is a TRUE brotha and will be there for you til the end. It showed back then and even today. His solo project should have taken off loooong time ago. Smooth dude, good looking, and the ladies love him...that's ALL he needs. Put it out there Ralph...time to shine babeeeeee!!

I completely got it when I saw the movie, totally get feeling some type of way. You know, people can talk all day long about "the group," but if the movie reflected Ralph one-thousand like Ralph says, his heart was all in...his heart was NE all day, all night - every day, 24-7. And at the end of the day, talk is cheap. He stepped up and showed his love for NE through his actions and remained humbled throughout. That said, the behind the scenes producers/execs - WHOEVAH - did not make good on their promises to him, they did not deliver and he obviously feels he missed his "pie in the sky." Rightfully so. From a fan who has followed NE from the beginning, I have to agree with what the man said here. All of the guys together are NE and I love them all, but Ralph is not just the lead singer in NE, Ralph IS NE. Ralph is the beating

Y'know, Ralph Tresvant was ALWAYS MY FAVORITE member of New Edition! As the group's LEAD SINGER, I always thought that HE should've been the BREAKOUT solo star out of NE. Ralph is a seasoned professional (as are the other 5 members). New Edition was one of my biggest teenage influences. They are blessed to be over 50 while remaining healthy and relevant. NE is still NE without Johnny, he's not even an original member. Now Ralph is a WHOLE other story. THERE IS NO NEW EDITION WITHOUT RALPH TRESVANT.

I'm 100 percent behind Ralph. He really never got to be the man. He did his thing, but it didn't hit like BBD or Bobby Brown,but when Johnny gill put new edition on his album with this ones for you. It was a hold new sound for me. That is what we need. There's still something missing. Y'all get together and talk to this man. NE4L.
