The extra fuel capacity seems like the main upgrade here since that V4 is so thirsty compared to the previous 1260 motor and other competition on the market. First of the V4 MTSs that caught my attention but now what to do about the cost. What are kidneys selling for these days?

Very nice review! I ride 1260 Enduro and if I would look around to get something instead, it will be this one for sure.

I ride a 1200 enduro for 6 years and 75.000km and I’m selling it now for the rally. I test rode it and it’s exactly what I was hoping it to be. The v4 engine on it makes it so much better bike to travel with. It’s a little thirstier than the v2 but not as tragic as some people mention. At least not if you are not pushing it hard. i just wish jt was not so expensive.

The Ducati Multistrada Rally engine sounds like a big loud sewing machine!

I dont know where Ducati gets the idea that everytime they make a change or revision to the V4 Multistrada that it is OK to pump up the price of the bike. This practice has taken their bikes to the highest prices in motorcycling. Making advances or changes to models is just what happens to all bikes but pumping the price when fine tuning models or making slightly different models is an excuse to pumping up the prices. That is just non-sense and unfortunate practice that is limiting Ducati market share in motorcycling.
