I think the long style guards, like these and andis purple guards. Compromise tight spaces like for exmple, kids cuts, some difficult canvases when they ask for a low fade. If Gamma would of made them the lenght of a wahl guard or even better just a bit shorter in lenght, I think would make a big difference.

There is no difference between brands. However Gamma just released new Blue tight guards that are different from these. The tight gurads especially the 1/2 and 1 guard are super thing with smaller teeth to give a closer and tighter blend.

Any word on release date?? In about two weeks I'm picking up some ergo and want to know if they co.e with them?

The ultimate blade will come standard with all Evos now. It will be for sale individually in the future but timing is TBD.

Hello. These guards are for clippers only. The hitter comes with its own set of guards.
