@@jimmyfallon4237 Nothing for an all in one. But I much prefer the standalone emulators. Much more support and updates for the specific console. Each to their own. Ive also had games that had a few issues on RA that even in the dolphin beta seem to be fixed.

@@bulmergames Yeah, i got it now. Just can’t click any buttons do you perhaps know why? All I did was put the files in the dolphin local folder inside config. It said the files already existed so i replaced it

Great video. Easy to follow. New version is out with in game gui. Only issue I have is selecting the exit game button. I can do anything else but that. Let me know if you have experienced the same thing!

So I just subscribed to you and this works. I also downloaded and used your config. However, when I'm in a game and press the left trigger and view button for dolphin menu I can't use the exit game. Like I can go and select the exit game but none of the buttons exit me out not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Nope. That usually means your games are zip files or that your ini files havent sent properly or thwy arw in the wrong place

I’m on Xbox, is the Durango FTP part necessary? Can I just put the rom on my usb and click it on Dolphin and play?

Hey bud, I’m running into black screen issue too upon launching the game from the emulator. I followed all the steps correctly and placed the ini files in the right location, although the app folder numbering was different. But it is the exact location as I confirmed with presence of Wii gc gb folders within the app folder. I placed the ini files within the config folder. And I downloaded the app/emu from their discord server as the link in the video has been taken down. And I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Lastly Game files are also correct format. So what’s going on here? Can you help please? One more interesting observation, every time I’ve redownloaded the app, it’s file size has changed.

Plug your external harddrive into a pc. Right lick into properties. Find permissions and set it to allow all. This will fix it

@@bulmergames using a usb thumb drive. I also use it for the ps2 emulator. I couldn’t find the typical permission option for this usb, but there was one under sharing this as G folder (lettering assigned as per ssds onboard pc). Even now it still won’t work. By the way, before you replied, now on top of black screen, upon hitting A on controller to launch the game, it also goes to Home Screen after it flickers. Like sometimes black screen, some times Home Screen. I even moved the games folder to root directory just in case. I’m thinking it could be the app itself, no? On the store page, your video says Xbhub for dev name, mine says, Vappyhub, even though I got this from discord from your links.

@@bulmergames sorry my friend, no insta. I’ve tried 4 different iso. One of them I’ve used on retroarch before and it worked. Not sure if this dolphin requires something different. Although my retroarch isn’t launching game either now, few months ago it was working fine. And no worries, whenever you’re bud👍🏼 Much appreciate your help & thank you for your guides once again!

so i have followed this step by step using ftp and running the same file settup and used the controls and imput them through and it still showing black on the dolphin emulator and iv tried everything and tested gamecube and wii roms and no such luck .

Step 2) After formatting, right click your drive, click Properties and the Security tab. I'm having an issue since the new UI implementation. The wii-mote shake function isn't working when I press the left or right thumbstick down. I have my dolphin folder in my internal xbox storage and not my USB if that matters. My games are on my USB

Yeh alot of people are saying the shake function doesnt work. Ill have a look maybe monday (my only day off) I would imagine if it doesnt work as a shake function, you would be able to set shake to a button press instead in wii controller settings

Black screen - you need to format your external nfts, set permissions to open and when inserted into xbox select for files and media. The folder should show up after you open the app on your xbox

First boot up after install can take a bit to load the games

My controller isnt being registered with the emulator. I can still use my xbox as normal but the app doesnt register that im pressing buttons. Everything else seems to work fine. Any suggestions?

They are uploaded weekly I beleive. But I get that it can be a pain with timing and random takedowns. Try turning notifications on for retail announcements. Thats how I did it

Make sure your usb is formatted to Ntfs and has permissions so xbox can read it in that format. Upon inserting it in Xbox, pop up will ask you how you intend to use it, select ‘for Media’ and you’re set.

Not for dolphin. Its not suggested either. Files corrupt alot when getting sent over or dont send correctly all the time. Its a hassle

Send over the ini file again. That fixes the controller

Like in the video. Copy across the .ini file and it will work

@@bulmergames Thank you! Do I have to delete the dev mode dolphin in order to see the one in retail mode? Because I open the and closed it, and it's not showing the file folder to put in the .ini files.

@@bulmergames yeah i was using dev mode for the time being util retail mode was up again. i figured it. Was on a 600 something file name.

NOTE: You MUST have access to a Windows PC or virtual machine to perform this setup. Step 1) Connect your USB to your PC and format it as NTFS. Step 2) After formatting, right click your drive, click Properties and the Security tab. Step 3) Go to Advanced > Add > Select Principal > Advanced > Find Now > ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES > OK > Tick the Full Control box > OK > Tick Replace all child object permission entries box > OK NOTE: You WILL get an error about System Volume Information, click continue and ignore it.

Could try retro arch and maybe a phone to usb converter. Or check out our tiktok for an emulator device

Done all the steps required, usb setup. Black screen, doesn't matter what i try. PS: I've tried 2 hard drives, multiple times copying the files etc, turning off and on the Series X. Nothing works. Frustrating. :( I was looking forward to testing it.

@@bulmergames it worked for me. Thanks! Is there a way to have it display images on the folders? XBSX2, Flycast, PPSSPP are all set up so nicely. I'm hoping dolphin can look like that too. If not, I'm just happy to finally have a way to play these games. Thanks again for the help! -T

Fixed the link. Cant do much about the screen after recording. I did zoom in on the copy paste and location though
