This is one of my favourites for sure. When you miss a shot here you feel it’s just because of you and not some unlucky bounce. I love how clinical it is

I really love this course! It’s funny because I didn’t think it would appeal to me that much. But, it is so well done. Between mini golf, the fox hunts, lost balls and a really open world feel (and it’s so fun to explore) it feels like multiple games in one.

The easy holes are actually creative and require some level of timing or accuracy, which easy courses usually don't. Hard course is kind of challenging but not as tough as they could have made it which is a little unfortunate. But overall one of the best

Absolutely, whatever your initial thoughts on the concept, the execution delivers so well that everyone should give it a try. It poses some super interesting challenges

This is another home run for Walkabout! I loved the recent Journey to the Center of the Earth DLC as well. Thanks for your great videos, as always!

This one’s refreshingly cool, it introduces a new mechanic but in such an accessible way

Great video as usual! I'd love to see you do more course guides. I love the new Laser Lair. Always well done and fun to play. My only problem is the lack of diversity as far as the challenges from hole to hole. They are mostly flat and the obstacles are just the lasers. But still, all the courses are fun to play. We each have our favorites!

@@InnerPrincessVR Hi, The new course is visually stunning. Love the new interactive items the boat, monorail and the beach ball. I also tried the clocking on machine and other items around the lair. No luck. Only played the easy course as some of our group were not available last night. I think they have got the balance just right. its the easy course but still have to give it respect. Found the skeleton at the bottom of the lava. Love it when your ball is vaporised by the lasers.

Love your helpful videos. Well done! Totally recommend getting the Oculus if only to play the courses in Walkabout. Surprised myself by actually getting a hole-in-one on the hard course.

Looks great, but I can’t get it on my original oculus! Is it the beginning of phasing the original ones out?? Everyone I’ve showed WMG to has bought oculus 2 instantly, but my old black one still has its charm, it would suck if its outdated already. Great channel, found many a ball and club watching!

My favs stills are Atlantis Myst ShangriLa and Zerzura, these 2 latest has way too much par 3 and not a single par 5. Its ok but not going to be my daily plays list

Yeah, different kind of course altogether. The courses you’ve listed have some great explorer holes, this is more clean cut, 1-2 shots being the target

Can anyone tell me when is the release date for this new course. I made a purchase for this course but on the app it says it's coming soon. So I can't open.

Yes, I had it fully written and partially filmed but then ran out of time before release date to edit. Unfortunately some life stuff came up but I will be looking to release that and other DLC reviews for the benefit of new players who are looking to choose from the wide selection on offer

Unfortunately Meta are withdrawing support for Quest 1, and so walkabout is limited on how much they can support it moving forwards. It’s a shame it’s not on Q1, but I know that Mighty Coconut would do it if it were possible

It’s not playable on Quest 1 standalone, so would need to be played through the Quest PC app or Rift app on PC. Hope this helps clarify. (This is paraphrasing from a Mighty Coconut announcement)

Nah I'm done buying new courses. I already have 19 & until the developers start creating new game features that many of us have been talking about in the discord feedback group, I'm done supporting them financially. Besides I can still play the new courses as a guest, and I'm so over new balls & new putters. Truth is I've been playing with the same ball & putter for many months. I've invested a total of $70 AUD on this app, more than any other app I own & I love the game, BUT it's time for new significant in-game features like match play, skins, Mulligan's, some new features to level the playing field & make the game more competitive, because the way it is now is only competitive in 1 format. There's 6 players in our private group & the rankings have been the same for months, but if other options were available like skins, match play & Mulligan's etc, that would change the dynamics of the game & give less consistent players a chance at competing with better players. It's not just me asking. I read comments every week in the discord feedback & it's a very common request that's been mentioned for many many months.

I'm sure these requests have been received. I'd imagine these features would prompt a fairly hefty overhaul of the backend, and knowing Mighty Coconut, that's likely to come at some point in the future and deliver even more than we expected. Until then, I love that the courses still bring such variety, and I'm always keen to see what each new one offers.

Ah yes. They should work on stupid shit 10 total people want they can already do just by entering practice mode instead of doing what the other 1000s of paying people want instead.
