8:55 It's gonna be _so dope_ when we get Scarlet Spider & add to the mix. Definitely my favourite alternate costume besides the black suit. I think we get reissues of the heads from the black suit, but nice we're gettin' that unique to Ben Riley mask w/the sharp edged eyes. Really hope we get a definitive comic Green Goblin - and a Sabretooth or two. They're majorly needed with the legends ones not looking so great besides the AoA one.

@@ScrewedToyz For real! As much as I'm technically at poverty level income, I'm always wishin' they'd crank it up a notch. I'd totally be fine with never purchasing a Legends again cause Mafex has got you covered.

Can't wait for Scarlet Spidey! 🙏 Only thing I wish with this release of classic Spidey had was a damn McFarlane head. We got one with symbiote and scarlet is getting one , why couldn't this ?? 😭

Definitely for me THE spiderman figure.. I grew up reading the Comics in the 80s and these colours just pop and the whole macfarlane bagley styles jus hits it outta the park.. Hours of fun.. Posing and snapping pics for the bugle.. 😅😉

I was really scrutinizing the two (but have the original/less metallic lookin' version), and surprised that the reds are a perfect match - other then the symbol on the back. Maybe the reissue is duller, or just one of those _'varies from copy to copy'_ thing...cause it's nuts how different one copy of the same fig can be from another. And like you pointed out to someone, this new one looks _soooo_ much better in person. On camera, the blue has more of a lighter/faded look. Making the fig look like it's wearin' old pajamas. But yeah, in hand it's a whole other beast. Shit is tight son!

Yea idk what it is about the colors but when I got the figure in hand I was blown away how saturated and vibrant they were, I was also surprised how close the reds are

DEFINITELY the new definitive. Although I like the metallic blue on the original and would’ve still liked a Peter Parker head, I can live without it because it’s still a great figure, just in more comic accurate colors!

8:01 Ha, so I spoke too soon with you putting the Parker head on the new one. As much as it matches, I'm definitely gonna be displaying both of mine masked. It's just figuring out which head will go on which one. Thought the smaller eyed one would look better on the lighter blue with having a more classic look, but I think it looks better the other way around. Now I just need to get some of those bendy webs on ebay. Think they look a little better and are cheaper compared to the Bendy Webz ones.

U can do the bendy webs urself go to a craft store and buy the smallest white wire u can find and KZread videos on how to make them, I used to make them all the time

Funny thing it kind of reminds of a select spectacular spiderman on the colors.

Oh man I would hope they do it but I don’t think they will, I think they are knocking out main story line spiderman, scarlet spider, Ben Riley, Peter Parker, I think 2099 is next

I have gotten two of these things and the first one a leg snapped and the second one the leg came loose. I don't know if I want to pay that kind of money for a Mafex if this is the quality.

Damn bro sorry to hear that, lately I haven’t had any issue with mates snapping on me, the CQ issues are still there but not as bad as they used to be, one think I will mention before moving my figure around I always hit the joints with a dab of shock oil, it help from snapping any of the joint or it breaking on you, or u could drop it in a bowl of hot water that will alone loosen up the joints. For loose joints hit it with sum Kiki’s joint tightener u can find both the oil and the tightener on Amazon

I’m getting it for christmas!

Cool video, if I may one critique.. you are using waaaaaaaaay too much silicone shock oil my guy, a little goes a long way.. you really don't want it running out of the joints like that your venom looking ultra shiny as well. No hate, good video cool figure.

Yes I was trying to find a small syringe but couldn’t find one, the bottle I use drops huge amounts of oil, need to find me a better bottle

@@ScrewedToyz you could also try a q tip and apply a little directly to the joint that way, manipulate the joint to spread the oil and see if it feels better.
