I only recently bought three copies of Saga of the Blue Eyes, to get three Blue-Eyes, obviously, and I found myself enjoying just opening the deck and checking out the cards way more than I did opening Traptrix, Albaz or anything else I bought recently. Seeing those normal monsters, Blue-Eyes aside, like Luster Dragon, Yamata dragon etc., besy YGO moment I've had in a long time.

If Konami bring both structure decks to the TCG, it would be amazing if they use the og arts or any dm or Blue-Eyes art but the tablet ones. those are overdone at this point.

This is basically the same dark magician deck you get in the legendary dragons decks but a worse version lol. Don't really see the difference. But the fire kings structure deck was a nice one to get.

Despite not being TCG legal, I think this is something neat for strictly casual games

I just bought this deck on eBay today because I want that uncensored foil Dark Magician girl. The japanese Dark Magician girl art is one of my favorites in all of Yu-Gi-Oh. Even though you can't play these, they're still worth having just for the uncensored art and the fact that they're in English.

Mostly used in South-East Asian countries, like Philippines and Singapore. We've been playing using Japanese cards, good thing we can now actually read the effect on the card itself and not open a Neuron or Yugipedia while on a duel lol

I think it's interesting that the back logo is different to the old Asian English cards. They used to have a different logo than the OCG.

I'm moving to Taiwan in August for an internship. Hope they have a few of these, I mainly just want it for OCG art with english text even if they're not legal in the TCG.

Its for quite a few other countries aside from japan and korea, the ocg covers basically all of asia, which includes china, singapore, malaysia, thailand, and phillippines to name a few, and well of course most of these countries can't read japanese or korean.

They also make new format for southeast asia (outside Japan) that only asia english card can be used for OCG

they may not be playable officially, but this like getting the lost art with all the uncensored English cards.

Now this is a structure deck.

I'm From the Philippines and we can use AE for OCG format and it has its own format as well

this deck is made for asia region (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, ETC) and it's legal to use in OCG Japanese tournaments.

They r technically playable throughout south east asia(singapore, malaysia, hong kong etc)

Even though English is a second language there, of course it isn't the main language in Japan, nor is it in South Korea. English is spoken though as an optional language in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines in the south east Asia area where these cards are more than likely made for that region.

I hope my locals gets these

They should let them be TCG legal (conditionally)... so long as the sleeve back is solid colored, you won't be able to see the JP logo.

Yeah if you're just playing for fun with friends and you're both cool with it then it'll be fine as long as they're sleeved most cards play the same anyway, some OCG rulings are slightly different but it probably won't matter, they're just not tournament legal mainly.

@@xlikeabossk8189 that's my point though... they should be as long as you can't see the back. It's a licensed Yugioh product with the exact same card texts as found in the TCG. A Magician's Souls card is the same between TCG and OCG when examined from the front. So, if the back is hidden, why should it matter. This needs to be appealed.

The set ID at the bottom of the art immediately gives away that it's an asian-english card and no amount of sleeving can hide it. Good luck convincing yout sanctioned TCg tournament judge that your xxxx-AE card is a TCG card

I can't imagine they'd take every single one of your cards out of their sleeves to examine them, though I've never participated in an official tournament, so I don't know for sure. Seems like you could get away with it though. Especially with this deck in particular, since you probably won't be winning any top spots with a DM deck.

Yes you can. You can play those cards in the TCG heavy I’m Korean Harvey’s feather duster. My deck and I can use it.

OCG card backs are different, so if you ever get deck checked in a tourney you'll be disqualified. It doesn't matter if it's in English or not, they don't allow players to use cards from opposite regions.

When theyre sleeved up no one will notice if its EN or not

All they need to do is make a Joey deck, package it with these Yugi and Kabia decks, and sell it as a new Legendary Deck pack.
