Maybe an RWI stealth ship. Kind of like the prowler from Halo. Or maybe like an actual designated carrier.

There is the Whisper, a recon ship the size of a starfighter introduced in Outpost Wars. So just scale it up to capital ship size, and you've got something.

Rwi battleship competition would make sense

So Jack I have an idea for you instead of using one of the top three what you could do is put them into the different classes of cruisers like AVALON - CL (light cruiser) COLOSSUS - CA (heavy cruiser) HADES - BC (Battle cruiser) This is just as an example you could assign CL, CA, Or BC, to the ships in any order that you want

Next competition should be either a destroyer or escort carrier

Very awesome competition, had fun making the ship and im hyped for what is in store for next. quick note of my ship, hades. It should have shields but i might have used the wrong version of the mod

The hades reminds me of an xl federation cutter from ED

How 'bout small/medium deep space outposts next? No planets or asteroids, just a quick deploy station for 2-4 people to monitor things & send garbled warnings from. Or how 'bout a colony ship that splits into a small town's worth of prefab homes & businesses & a com sat to leave in orbit!

For another competition: the backbone of every fleet is logistics, so... a very big cargo ship type, used as flying space dock for repairs in the field, and to resupply, refuel and replenish ammunition of the other ships in the fleet. Big cargo space, assemblers and refinery to create spare parts and ammunition while on the move, a docking area for 2 small mining drones, another hangar for a bunch of repair drones, extendable docking arms to connect to multiple other ships of the fleet, a big open interior space to relax in, and only small PDC-type weapons for self defense...

The Avalon gives me the pillar of autumn vibes it's damn well designed ship.

A bulk logistics ship with limited combat ability would be really cool, some kind of mobile base builder and fleet support ship, something like the UNSC Spirit of Fire, mainly cargo, mining and manufacturing but with some "keep off the grass" type CIWS and long-range missiles/artillery to hold off enemies long enough for support to arrive or support a larger fleet.

Congrats to the winners and good work to all involved, lots of very cool ships :) For the next competition, I'd suggest a corvette or fighter one.

My personal favourite is the Hades. It gives me star destroyer vibes and also reminds me of the split ships from X3 Albion Prelude. I love the insane level of detail on the Hull and on the interior

Very reminiscent of a marathon cruiser.

The Hades class just screams black ops to me.

The Hades honestly reminds me of X4 foundation's Terran Asgard battleship.

I would try building a mobile space station. Built by the RWI survivors in a far distant apoplectic future and sent back to save RWI. Unfortunately records were scarce of the current time so it was sent into deep space. You would have to play around with mods/settings to get the future scifi stuff. Things like a refinery with no modules can refine platinum as fast as iron. Thrusters are 5 times more powerful and efficient than current tech. Tanks hold 3 times as much as current. Armor blocks are 2 or 3 times more durable than current. Reactors are more powerful and smaller than current (think like a 30 GW reactor the size a seat in a small drop ship).You should have the idea by now.

If you guys ever do a parallel universe arc/storyline, you should use the second or third places of the competitions for the parallel RWI fleet.

Omg, if thT RWI ship makes it into colony wars, it'll be so fun seeing those sentry broadside firing 😂

I think the next competition is to design a full Carrier type ship. I know the valiant has that big hangar portion. But I think designing a ship that is a full carrier would be interesting. Just think about how it’d look with a carrier launching a large swarm of fighters at the enemy.

Because the information on the valiant says that it is a warship, not a carrier.

Next competition should either be a carrier or something like the California class idea from Star Trek the background shit that gets blown up a lot and not really heavily armed 😅

A lot of these ships are built around a naval architecture paradigm… I.e. they harken back to Star Blazers where the Yamamoto was phoenixed into a star ship. I would really like to see ships built differently… decks as horizontal cross sections, ships built in cylinder shells.

Maybe try out for RWI destroyers or bombing ships for orbital assault

Love the Hades, I think it would be a great addition for use in a Battle or Future Series, I understand though it's sort of futuristic look made it a 2nd place choice but still it is wonderfully designed, I definitely believe using it as an Experimental Stealth Ship would be a great explanation for it's design if it is used in the future. I do agree the spoiler on the back might be unnecessary however I do like a little flair with the ships, besides you could always add some bits and bobs to it and say it has a lore reason like as a stealth ship the spoiler array reflects enemy sensor scans to mask the ship & decrease accuracy to enemy weapon target locks. Or you could just remove the Spoiler, either way I Guess. I do think if it does become a stealth ship for you in the future, it would be cool to have a sort of Cloaking Device Mod to hide the ship in enemy territory, but it may come at the expense of shields being disengaged while the cloak is enabled, like Klingon Bird of Prey's have to do. Either way, I look forward to whenever we may see the Hades again, And if it does end up getting destroyed, I hope it goes out in orbital re-entry mod style. Breaking and Burning up before detonating. [I do wonder though, do RWI Ships have a Self Destruct in case of ships become too badly damaged or become boarded?]

The next build should be a rwi ground transport for vehicles and troops Like the keep from colony lost

I highly recommend the Dreadnought compilation (because I've watched sabaton's Dreadnought too many times)

I think first place and third place should be used in rebuilding the fleet. Then have second place to be a secret project.

Next time you do a competition may i suggest exploration warships/dreadnoughts (lightly armored but heavy on weapons) it might improve maneuverability and acceleration

how about a new fighter? like specialized ones, it would be really good for redwoods. or maybe a dedicated space carrier. that would enhance the fleet even more with more fighters at your disposal

These cruisers in this video are absolutely amazing. I am sad my Naglfar lost but am happy that I did such a good personal job. It was fun. The Avalon is crazy good. Hades look Star Wars Imperial, a classic. Colossus looks good. Should be an RWI Destroyer next.
