    Hello! I have a very basic but possibly complicated question. I have a client that brought ZOHO to me as I’ve worked with other CRM systems in the past and this is their preferred system they want to now move forward with. However, I’m not sure how the ownership or admin works if I set it up with my own email then transfer ownership like I have with other systems. Or, should I walk them through the setup process so that they’ll have to initially start with their own email address. My only worry is that they’ll have access to the system before everything is setup, I’m sure they’ll get email alerts about everything I trigger and test, etc. Any advice is much appreciated!

    Hi Tia - some of this does come down to preference. The way we always set it up is where the client has full ownership over the Account. So, it would be under an email address on their domain. We normally recommend they create a new inbox (or alias) for zohoadmin@domain.com to keep it separate from any specific employee's email address.
