Why did you get Infinity edge as first item instead of Kraken or BotRK? Are they out meta on Ashe now?

Kraken lost crit% now, so it's exclusively for on-hit builds or if you prefer early game power and snowballing over enemy ADC as it seems Kraken still gives more DPS up to 3 items (Kraken > IE > PD) over IE > PD > LDR, but falls off in terms of scaling simply bc enemy ADC will cap CRIT much faster. Ashe, on the over hand, doesn't depend that hard on crit, so she might rush Botrk or Kraken and be relevant. Seems that Vapora went for the OG IE rush from good old times, but yeah, Ashe should still be pretty much ok rushing Kraken.

@@carminsky thank you very much for the time you took to explain. I got into Ashe thanks to his videos. Been playing Ashe for 4-5 days. Now that lethal tempo is gone and items are changed, I don't wanna build unnecessary stuff 😂

@@theWardennn used to play Ashe myself, but dropped her to learn some other ADCs (Xayah, Zeri and Aphelios), haven't really played the new patch, but I can give some ideas. First item is going to be kraken or botrk most likely. BOTRK into very tanky teams or 2 tanks with one of them being an HP stacker (Sion, Mundo), else is kraken. Next is PD or Runaan's. Runaan's buff is great, but unless enemies have a lot of melee champs, overbuffed PD just seems to be better imo, but need to test it. IE 2nd or 3rd is default. Next is LDR most of the time and the rest is situational. Yun Tal for example is good for big boy dmg. Crit is THE way, but IE rush is bad due to bad build path and no AS untill 2ns item. And Ashe isn't really chained to crit dmg, so she can optimally use kraken and not to worry about loss of crit

@@carminsky thank you. How about the recently new item Last Destination (or something like that) which stacks armor/mr while stacking armor/mr reduction? Is that better or worse than Lord Dominic? You can't build both of them. Also, why is Ashe not a crit viable champ? I think with her permanent slow, crit is crit as she is ranged. Am I thinking wrong?

@@theWardennn the item you're thinking of is terminus. It's not good on Ashe as it's purely for on-hit champions and Ashe, despite having a slow, isn't an on-hit champ. Just so happens that slow itself doesn't deal dmg, so guinsoo is useless with her kit, but some on-hit items just give her everything she wants (botrk, kraken, old wit's end). Terminus isn't one of them: 1) it has to stack to full potential, 2) it provides 30% armor pen 30% magic pen and second part is useless, 3) it doesn't provide crit and Ashe's slow actually increases AA dmg based on crit chance on slowed targets, so you're just better off buying LDR with 40% armor pen and crit%. And Ashe is a crit champ, yes, but her passive increases dmg based on crit% to a fixed amount on slowed targets, that's why she doesn't depend on capping CRIT and actually can skip 1 crit item if situation calls for it. For example pre 14.10 patch prime anti tank Ashe build was crit with botrk, so she had 80% crit chance, but that was still much better into tanks. Basically she is a crit champ, but her crits don't deal increased dmg, it's her passive increases AA dmg scaling of crit chance, so it's not mandatory to go for 100% crit in niche situations and you won't fall off that hard in damage as most other crit oriented carries.

Ashe DOES have crit. Her interaction with crit works the following way: 1. Ashe's crits deal no increased damage (but they are crits) 2. Ashe's crits DO increase the strength of her slow 3. Her passive increases her damage onto slowed targets based on her crit chance So by building crit, you increase the average slow strength, and also increase your damage in a similar way as crit would usually amplify an ADC's DPS, except Ashe does it without the usual RNG, just slapped onto almost every auto. And by building Yun Tal, you apply the bleed on every crit you make (the crits that would usually otherwise only give her slow amplification).

I know that bleed stacks but does that mean when Ashe uses her Q that's 5 - 6 stacks of bleed in one auto?

Fortunately, no. Ashe's Q autos are coded to only apply on-hit effects once each, like regular attacks.
