Should have focused on creating more full-character avatars that can be customized! There are currently 2 adults Tom and Lenka, and 2 kids... creating more of these will definitely give us more options to pick from instead of just faces (which are the same features as when building the full character). Adding a feature to the full characters such as different face shapes or body types would make the experience better and will make the characters more customizable, instead of using the same face shape or body type and just changing the assets such as hats, hair, etc. This would also eliminate creating more characters... but its always good to have some as a starting point for a character that you can edit that closely resembles what you're trying to create. Just my thoughts.. I'm not sure why face shapes and body type are not options... I see it as default in almost every other platform.

Yes. Animaker has many characters that you can choose and different movements. And it's free for limited downloads.

Another incredible update! If only we could attach these avatar heads to the bodies of the csp characters! That would be insane!

Not quite sure this is what I was hoping for. TBH if the talking heads had bodies and movements now that would have been cool, but understandably too massive, so I completely understand why they don't. I am hoping we will see on the groups Facebook page how people use them. It's a significant update but not sure how this update will feature in my work as again, it's another not so realistic tool, keeping everything cartoony and fun (not a bad thing), but keeps its use 'niche'. The current 3D characters are all very similar. With zero varients. No consideration for all the other shapes and sizes in the world. Just keeps it all niche and less like the world we live in. Bodyless heads=limited/niche use.

Is it a tutorial? Have you shown how to add or import that photo and what to do next which you performed? I am new to createstudio and after 2 months, i have not created a single video, due to such so called tutorials.

Sometimes, starting your first video can be the hardest. I suggest you find any template that looks interesting and play with it to change the text, a color, or insert your own video. Designing your own title or customizing a template will get you on your way. There are many online tutorials that will improve your confidence to make your own. It takes time, but this tool is easier than many other video editors.

If you work at it, you can mask the head on a current figure and put the avatar head on a layer above. Should work great when character doesn't move much.

I'm so excited about this When I try to load an avatar it spins and loads forever. I've tried several times. Any ideas to fix this so I can start using this great new feature?

Thank you, and just a suggestion, as I'm searching through CS and can't find where these are: may I suggest showing us where to find the new things you introduce as part of the tutorial? I'm at the latest version, and typed "memoji" into the search bar. It shows "Memoji Guy" and "Memoji Girl", both of whom are full-bodied, not just heads. Neither of them appear to be customisable. As much as I love CS (and I'm relatively new to it) its user interface is slightly odd when it comes to finding things, and how they are grouped together.

To edit a character you need to drag it to the timeline. You will have the option to make edits and save them as presets after.

what about animals?

It's very unfortunate that the tutorial part SKIPS over how to actually begin. It's assumed you know how to somehow get to where this tutorial instruction starts. 1:21 in "The first thing you want to do is create a hairstyle"??? There is nothing on the home dashboard to get me to that. I can't find any other KZread videos that include this. The first 3rd of this video is all promotion then it skips too far ahead. If you ever fix this, I'd be happy to know.

Hi, we don't have this feature. You can customize characters based on our pre-made options. Josh created an avatar similar to the guy in the photo.

Thsi software is not what I was expecting and have asked for a refund. I submitted a request was sent a link to open a conversation and the link does not work! What a scam! Just give me my refund please.
