What is up everyone! I bought more coral. Again! HAHAHA, it is so fun to get new coral since they are so unique. Its from LAX Aquarium. If you haven't seen their live sales, you need to. Tell me in the comments if you have seen the live sales. This coral is so epic! They call is the Lakers Hammer Coral! Its purple and gold. It is the Kobe Bryant of euphyllia corals. inventoryking it’s 80 gallon but the naso tang is very small so when I move out in 2 years I will upgrade

How do you prevent a large drop in calc, mag and all, when adding so many large Coral at once. I had a tank crash because I added 6 large ones at once and they sucked up all my mag down to 900 and calc down to 290 in a very short time.

It’s best to prepare for the extra demand and slightly up it or once the corals are added test vigorously for the first 24hrs to 48hrs and dose as needed to help keep everything stable, or do a larger water change to help replenish these elements. That’s what I personally do, I’ve also had that happen to me before after adding a bunch of SPS!
Hey, I saw ur vid on qt tanks. I believe it was a 40 gallon and so, u added 4 packets of Furan-2. I have a 35 gallon qt tank. So, how many packets of Furan-2 should i add? Can u please tell me. it would be of great help.
Why is it called a Lakers hammer. ? I’m from the UK so have no idea about the name. Anyway it is a Beautiful looking Wall hammer they are all very beautiful 😀👍🏻💞

Coral reefs are exclusively marine environments. They don’t exist in freshwater. Saltwater reef is an oxymoron as we already know that your reef aquarium is in saltwater. it’s silly to constantly refer to your tank as a saltwater reef.
