This is the weirdest layout. This home is okay for a single person but not a young family starting out with the secondary bedrooms in front of the house. Why is the laundry room right off the living room? I can only imagine trying to enjoy the tv with noise of the washer and dryer going. On a better note you did an excellent job with giving the tour. I subscribed as I might consider St.Cloud because you get more house and yard size for less money than some of the other surrounding areas.

We do that a lot in homes here with a room or two up front, however there are different designs out there. Some with the flex and living up front like in my Marbella video. I think sometimes with the basic plans they tend to have similar traits.

Any like these now?

There are definitely homes like this. We are also seeing a lot of inventory coming available with builders. The price for these homes has grown to the $350k-$400k range currently in the main metro area and surrounding. There are some more rural areas you could find it for this price. Would something like that interest you?

The current starting price on this home at Old Hickory in St. Cloud, Fl as of today is $307,990. It is subject to change at builders discretion and does not include the lot or any changes or upgrades. The price may be different in other locations. I can make an appointment with the builder rep for you to learn more and do a full estimate.

And they don't have houses more affordable, with a back yard and garage for two cars

Hi Rosa, this home does come with the 2 car garage and is just like that since it is being used as the builder office. Some more backyard would be great that is for sure. Land actually costs a considerable amount so buying that and building can be even more costly. Something like this is a great start for folks and they go for the bigger or more land later. There are great options out there, at a more affordable price and include more, if you are open to location or finding a resale home that you may put in some work.

Bought up by rich people in order to rent out. Sad for those of us who want to own.

This is very sad and something we’ve been warning about. Why I do what I can to help folks cut through it and find a home. These times always favor the prepared so we have to be prepared for next time.
