Great video Jeff! I think this is a great option for hardscaping contractors whom already have the skid-steer and pour just 1-2 loads of concrete a couple/few times per week. Perhaps someday an option of using an electric power-pack would open up a whole other realm of options as well. I think you guys may have struck gold with this setup!!!

Carry a freezer bag size of brown sugar with you. When u drive the load of Crete home put 2 handfuls in the mix with a touch of water. Let it swing in reverse to mix for a minute. It will drop out hopper like water a couple hours later I promise u. I Always carried the brown sugar around with all the chemical additives going on in Crete these days

Having a balance of keeping new updated equipment and tax right offs is a big part of the business. Unfortunately it can cut into the profit and I have seen guys go broke trying to avoid paying taxes by buying equipment. My goal is to keep equipment well maintained and try not to have an equipment payment. It takes time.

Pre-tier 4 emissions I would have agreed with you wholeheartedly, but…. with the added costs of being emissions complaint these days now pushing the cost of trailers pumps north of $100K, a guy whom already owns a skid-steer now being able to grab a unit like this for $55K could be a good option. I 100 percent agree that it’s probably not the ideal unit for someone who’s primary business is pumping concrete all day every day, but I think it does fit a niche for contractors whom pump only a couple/few small pours weekly and are not wanting to schedule around rental pump availability.

Josh if you change your mind I’m a sale representative for the Mud Demon. I have purposely not endorsed a lot of products that I have been offered. Mainly because I’m not in the business to be salesman and especially if I don’t have 100% confidence in the product. I can stand behind this. The main components are built by Schwing concrete pumps. They are a proven leader in the concrete pump industry. All wear parts and main component parts can be purchased from a Schwing dealer or Schwing themselves. My contact I is in the description of the video. Feel free to to contact me if you would like to purchase one.

I'm sorry I can't see it in the UK skid steers are rare things but a quick Google Search is £35,000 and I mud demoned at £44,000 total cost £79,000 and I bet you can spend another £20,000 on parts and pipes. I don't think you'd be much better off. total cost £99,000 to $123,497.55 if you think you can make it work go ahead. I don't know if you have bought this or have been testing it. I might change my mind once you've got your setup sorted out and dialed in but for now I will stick to my previous comment. so it's a problem what does not exist.
