Chakits, I have a question are the upstairs bathrooms above the garage. Is it wise to have bathrooms above the rooms below or the garage below. I have our house with the bathrooms above the garage as the house gets older there will be some leaks. I have a friend his bathrooms were above the garage and somehow a pipe burst, and water came down all over his vehicle. But I think if it was over rooms on the bottom floor, it would have been worse. I would rather have a one level home just from that experience.

Are Las Vegas homeowners concerned about UV damage to wood floors? Sunlight is intense and I thought floors fade over time; noticeable when furniture and carpets are moved. Do builders take that into consideration when choosing flooring material?

Hi.. been watching for years.. I bought a Tri-Point home.. my master shower leaked.. it took them 3 months to fix/rebuild my shower. My question is, since I can't use my master shower for those months, do Home Builders help me out monetarily with loss of use since I can't use my shower?

@chakits1 Absolutely!!! The economy is tanking, and home prices are not sustainable. More and more companies are laying people off and unemployment is rising. Interest rates are also going up. A huge chunk of our society lives paycheck to paycheck, and many of those people will put up their homes for sale or go into foreclosure. Many AirBnbs will also be put for sale as well. We are not going into a Recession; we are going into a Depression. You can't have artificially low rates and endless money printing without having serious repercussions. I own 18 rental properties in 6 different states, and so I speak with Realtors all the time. Tons of price reductions and canceled contracts. I've seen several homes that have been reduced 4 and 5 times and still have no interest. When people get scared, they slam their wallets closed and don't buy high ticket items like homes and cars. No demand plus increased supply equals lower prices.
