Another great video!! Living out in Panther Ridge just past this area and love it -- much prefer having a 1+ acre lot. Only a matter of time before University Pkwy will get widened between Lorraine and Bourneside -- and the land is definitely set aside to do this! Now if only University were then extended further east!!

I personally would consider living in Kansas rather than Lakewood Ranch. The 'LWR' bubble is one thing but to get to the good parts of sarasota, you may as well live in Kansas. You showed a picture of Marina Jack when you said that Sarasota is accessible from LWR. It will take you about a half hour to get there on most days from LWR. Just saying. If you live in LWR and work in Sarasota, it is not a good commute...at all. Love your videos. You're one of four Sarasota realtors who I trust.

I'd love to be there. But the prices are too steep for the common man. And I mean a net worth of 1 million And thats not even common. Thats only 5% of all us residents.

Lakewood Ranch is out of reach for most people. But realtors do make big fees on those properties.

Sounds alot like Babcock Ranch except that Babcock is only 5 years into development

not really....LWR is not a solar-powered town. Plus LWR is close to beaches, amenities, and culture. Babcock is way more remote.

@@katrinreal Babcock is only 20-25 minutes from Ft Myers and Punta Gorda and eventually you won't have to leave Babcock for anything unless you want to. As far as the beach is concerned yes that is further away 40-45 min to Ft Myers Beach. The Solar part well obviously total advantage Babcock Ranch. I've lived in Shitcago Illinois my whole life so being in a more remote area but not hours from civilization is a good thing. Thanks Katrin looking forward to your next video 😉👍

Im from suburban Chicago and I was blown away by the low costs I was and was told by homeowners in Tampa, St Pete and Sarasota upon my visit in May of 2023. My brother relocated to the region and he boasts on the cost of living.

I’m from the upper northern Midwest of the country. I was recently in Florida in May 2023. Being that you’re a realtor, I’ve a question. Whenever I view videos of the region by realtors, I notice that LWR in the key point, rightly so. From that vantage point, Tampa & St Pete, often Orlando are mentioned. Sarasota and Naples are mentioned. Yet the vast majority on LWR is in Manatee and Bradenton is NEVER stated. Why is that? I stayed in a hotel along I-75 in Manatee County and was able to venture into downtown Bradenton. Is the area simply not worth discussing when mentioning all the other cities around LWR?
