if you'd used cable instead of rope you could actually have used the net anchors. Signals dont travel through rope.

At the hotspots they usually swim quite deep so you need to bottom trawl almost.

I spent an afternoon figuring this out... Attach a set of "Electric" anchors to the net anchors, this will allow you to pass a composite signal through. Then create a quick micro-controller (1x4) that reads a composite signal and outputs 3 on/off... This way you can pass a composite signal through a winch to control the net anchors. Got a "Fishing Update" video uploaded on my channel if you wanna see it working.

The lag you could cause…

wait what?!, i thougth it was next week! this is epic

Stormworks is a good game, but it would be better if they just focused on building, driving and missions.

Net Anchor being smaller, more obvious where the connection points are and composite node, maybe as an alternative and call it Compact Net Anchor?

u need cable anchors and a composite hookup to control that on a sub grid.

literally impossible, stormworks is a very demanding game, unless you have a steam deck i guess
