Newly-appointed Philippine men's football team coach Tom Saintfiet is pleased with the talent and mentality that he has seen from the local pool of players who were called up to training in the past week.
Saintfiet, who was officially named the new coach on February 26, is forming a team that will play against powerhouse Iraq in the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup/AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
