Adorable. I think these are all great ideas to try with my grandson. He is almost 5, he is a builder. I'll let him paint/stain and do some cutting, his dad will help us with the power tool. The unfinished, and paint pen, I think he will love, and I will let him do them. I want pieces that we can keep to decorate with for years to come. He will remember these, and learn to create with simple supplies and I know he will take that into his adulthood.

Perhaps a halo around the star, as if it were glowing? Anyway I like helping the star to get attention, to shine.

Since you don't have green anywhere else on the tree and the wood is such a light color, your eyes go to the green and not the tree. Also, I like the little chunky one! So cute!

I would NOT criticize any one of these projects. Very very well done. I plan to try at least one with my grandson, November 25, 2021. For me, I would do them as exactly as you did them, maybe consider beads and ribbon another time. Thank you.
