My “flabber was gasted”! I could not tell at all from freshly put on to four hours later or 8 hours later! Your make up looked freshly put on all day! Now that’s a feat!

I like how it looks on the skin but in my opinion you need a lighter shade, at least for this season. Quite big difference in color with the neck.

Looks great on you! And since I was convinced by one of your recent videos that I don't really need the Chanel Les Beiges blush, I think this foundation will need to come live with me! And I live in the middle of nowhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The closest mall/Sephora/department store is about 2 hours away from me, so I'm on first name basis with my UPS and Fed Ext drivers 😊

For a matte foundation it looks great. You wear it well! Hope you & little one get better soon.

The powder and balm foundation are really great also as well as the cheek pallets.

I’ve been wanting this foundation since I first saw your video and it only became available in Canada yesterday. So I hightailed it to the store … and upon rewatching your video I’m shocked that I was colour matched to the same shade as you - and it looks great on. Shocked because I wear Chanel 20, La Mer 22, Lisa Eldridge 10, Pat McGrath 9…we are nowhere near close in skin tones and yet it looks great on me. Go figure. And you’re right - the shades on the website are impossible to figure out. But this foundation is so lovely! Dries down fast, no tackiness or heaviness, really pretty finish. You can no longer get La Mer colour products in Canada (don’t know why or understand it!) so I was looking for a replacement. The Louboutin is slightly warmer than the neutral La Mer, but big thumbs up!

Didn’t think (being older ) I would like a matt but the Guerlain foundation is lovely on my old lady skin, covers my texture and age spots, it does oxidize a little but I chose too light a shade so it worked out perfectly 😊

I saw the stall for this brand in Selfridges and the packaging of all their products look so crazy luxurious, and this looks so pretty. Although with that much money, I think it's definitely one to try get swatch in store rather than risk getting an incorrect shade online, at least for me, who always gets it wrong. But £62 is too expensive for me to spend on a foundation, I thing 45 is the max I would spend where the Armani foundation was the most expensive foundation I ever bought.

I think brands go into a massive brain overload when they're trying to get shade matches online. They either go over the top with info and colour swatches which confuse the arse out of me personally, and in reality look nothing like them, or there's so little info you wonder why they've bothered in the first place. If the brands own site can't get it right, how do they expect us to find the right colours. Ok, rant over 😏.

Because 1. i still have quite some, it's a waste for another makeup loving consumer like me, not a KZreadr and/or MUA 2. it's very full coverage (i thought my CDP in the bottle already was/is full), but thanks so, so much for the demonstration 👏👏🤩🤩, because on that website you only see perfected pictures. 3. the shade range. You gave much more info to us, which i'm so thankful for! So, i'm a light/medium, more a light with cooler undertones, so, gonna watch more video's is indeed, like you said: a good plan, as i really don't know if i need shade 15 or 20, maybe 15 in winter and 20 in summer, but maybe even shade 10 i might need, don't think so, but you really gave us a better idea!👍The powder shades, well, powder is powder, it's different, but the Louboutin pressed powders, i use 35C all over my face, just a bit, but it's fine! For under my eyes i have the powder in 15NC, i love this powder. But these shades are different! I always go a half to 1 shade up in foundation, as i also want it to give me some colour, besides coverage, etc. So, from Suqqu, now in winter, shade 210 actually is my skin, i had that one, looked like a blanket (for me than), have shade 220 for quite a while, love it. They have amazing complexion products. I haven't tried their lip products yet, but I want to try the Shiney lipstick u tried last. Their cream compact foundation is amazing. As well as their face setting powder/multiuse powder. They say u pick the shade for what u want to use it for, like bronzer, highlighting, or setting the face. Their baked gelee blush and highlighter palettes r stunning on the face, not to mention all their packaging is top tier gorgeous.

Looks like a nice finish. I hope they work on the shade range.

I really like this foundation, got it as soon as it was available to buy on the CL website. I did well picking the right shade too so no complaints! For reference, I am Deauville and Fiji in the Nars light reflecting foundation and got shade 20N in the CL foundation, it’s slightly deep for me now but it will be great if the sun comes out one day!!

I think 20 N will work for me. Fingers crossed. I definitely wanted to wait for reviews since so pricey.

Thank you for the ingredients list! This foundation is not for me because of the added fragrance, in the list are 3 fragrance ingredients that give me contact eczema. ( I am also a light coverage girl) But this looks so nice. And I mentioned last time that I don't like the Leboutin lipstick packaging. But this bottle looks really good. I enjoyed the video.

@@dolleeeh I'd say it's buildable to full. For me, I use it as a concealer under my eyes, to blur my pores and cover discoloration. It blends nicely with my natural skin. I sometimes use the CL powder for a little more blurring.

First off, I think you look beautiful no matter what! even when you say your makeup isn't good. you always look great! :) i think this foundation looks good from far and i like the color on you but i feel in natural daylight it looked dry around the mouth area whereas some others you have tested like the tom ford illuminating one don't do that..maybe its just my screen??? ..... i have really dry skin so i won't get this but i still think it looked amazing on you! for reference im late 30s and dry skin and love the tom ford shade illuminate foundation and also the estee lauder futurist and chanel no1. thanks for this video and all your videos. it helps so much 🥰

Same question here! I did buy the Prada foundation a few weeks ago but havent worn it because I am scared to “break the spell”, which is ridiculous. It’s an expensive foundation so I should allow myself to wear and enjoy it 😂

Undertone can be yellow, olive, red, pink or neutral. This can be this way for any skintone. Depth is the spectrum of skintones from light to dark: from the palest pale ('white'), to the richest ebony ('black'). And along every category of skintone, light, medium, deep, dark, you can have a variety of undertones. I hope Im making sense lol. Im very sleep deprived currently

OMG, love this foundation! I am just a bit scared of the online match 'game'...

I tried shade 10N. It is the right shade but has a VERY yellow/warm undertone. Had to order 10C instead

I picked up NW15... As far as a shade guide, I relied on a leg swatches🙈 Not the bottle,not the individual swatch itself on a promo photos. Hopefully it will be good for my skintone. Cant wait to make an review. Thank you for this👍

I got nw15 in the compact one, on the leg it looks light olive. It's a tad bit lighter than it looks on the website. Haven't worn it yet, tho. I was gonna order thisbut nw15 in fluid was out of stock so went with balm. I'll be using the balm version, finish it then buy this.

I usually go for full coverage but have the same problems you describe about flat, mask-like dullness... Right now I only have drugstore foundations, would this be in the top of full-coverage foundation (although I know full coverage is not your preference) if you were to suggest for me (I am 48)?

Contains fragrance and essential oils which is a red flag for me - causes a really bad allergic reaction to my skin. Quite common in high end foundations unfortunately.

I mean.. I get it’s Louboutin but the leg swatches are so odd! As a medium-tan olive girlie those swatches are doing nothing for me. Leg swatches? It kinda makes sense considering Louboutin is famous for shoes. But unless it is body makeup, not brilliant. And at that price and size, it is not exactly MAC face and body.
