YAY!!! He was my Programme Director when I was working in Pioneer Generation Office (PGO).... very brilliant and humble gentleman!

I served under a super kilat LTC CO in 2009 to 2011 and his mem forsaw him to be the COA easily in his later years with his superior capability to show humility and sincere compassion, he showed the battalion he led and he made it a point that any soldier can walk into his office to speak their mind on anything. He served under a Division Commander who is very stuck up and really doesnt give a shit about his Division and very sloppy in the way he presents himself and to my surprise years later i found out that super kilat LTC is now a SLTC leading a camp that has no link to the fighting force yet his Div Commander became a Star Gen, and is today an MP in a matter of very little time. We came to the conclusion that selfless men who have a backbone cannot be lured into high posts with riches and wealth. That Kilat CO probably was given an ultimatum that if he wanted to go further, his future would have to be in politics and being the Honest man that we all knew him to be, we just knew that was why he hentak kaki at a hopeless position just awaiting retirement.. this Senior Officer is a Ranger and he couldve been anything he wanted to be, and we knew he chose to be honest with the people he served. It was an honor to have served under such a man and it will be an honor to fight under the command of such a man.

Singapore needs to have more cooperation with countries in the region so when the time comes, we can work together and fight against troublemakers from outside.

This assumption cannot be proven to be true or false. Just my opinion. They are air dropped into stat boards, political positions, and companies controlled by Tema$%K. I'm sure everyone can learn something given time. It is just decisions that are made is like a gamble in business. Circumstances change. Business can maintain or lose money, but due to the complexity of business within business. It is not known whether everything is ok. One assumption is they sometimes cause problems like stifle innovation or cause a business to fail outright. They cause resentment among long time employees. But a good local leader will be better than a foreign CEO .

Future CDF and next GE Candidate

The Russian - Ukrainian War is terrible. The wars of the future will be more violent. SAF need to invest in local technology as well as what's out there. We can't buy everything. We do not have arch-enemies like the Israelis and the middleeast countries or USA with major world powers. Being a Little red dot, people pick on us casually. There is always a possibility that we may lose everything in a twist of fate. so materialism should have a limit. I have served my duties as NSmen. I'm thankful for never seeing war and the Army has taken care of its soldiers to some extent. BUT life is never perfect. My experience in Army had not been great. But if the Army should need us again in future, We will be there. The Singaporean Core is very important for the Armed forces and for Singapore. Of course the decisions is with Singapore gov. The Armed forces work with what they have. There are things I shall not say because it may be classified, but I'll say again a Singaporean Core is very important.

Any leader can do that in any field, may that be military, political, or even business. Going into an interview with notes is a sign of preparedness. One can choose to memorise everything, or one can choose to have data handy by the side.
