I can make it work, but I've already packed it up to return for a different color. I hope there's one that's not too warm. 1.5 is warm and 2 is also golden. 😬 Maybe there isn't a good shade match in this formula for me? Thanks for watching today.

The more I build it up, the more the glowy finish builds. That's worrisome for me. I liked how it wore, but. . .

Like you, several other reviewers weren’t so sure about this glowy foundation but looked so beautiful once powder, blush, etc., were applied. You looked beautiful! I think I’ll skip this one because I prefer matte foundation. I’m SO glad you pointed out the shade difference as I usually wear #1 in CT foundation. Yes, check the shades in store if you have a place where you can swatch. My Ulta doesn't carry CT in store, and my Sephora is over an hour away, so I normally order online to avoid the drive. I'm surprised that there is such a discrepancy between the shades. I think it looked nice when powdered, but it was something I wouldn't want to wear without powdering my full face. More and more, I'm only powdering my T-zone, and leaving the sides of my face un powdered. This might be too glowy for that type of look on me. Thanks so much for watching and supporting my channel. Just tried the Charlotte Tilbury Sheer Glow Tint and it's a game-changer! So easy to apply and it gives my skin such a healthy, radiant look. Obsessed

It looks good. I was shade matched today at Sephora. I was skittish about it at first but I like it. I let it set for a few minutes, then powdered. Great quick look for “no makeup” days.

I returned shade 1 and picked up 1.5. It's a much better shade match for me. I'm going to lightly apply it, and then only set my t-zone. I think I might appreciate it more if I do that.

My go-to summer foundation is the Chantecaille Future Skin gel foundation. I’m running low and considering getting the LE skin tint next. Chantecaille is pricey but I keep coming back to the future skin when I want a light coverage that brightens up my whole face

I've never tried any Chantecaille coverage products. You've peaked my interest. I really love the LE skin tint. It's really lovely, and looks like skin while still offering a light layer of perfection. My skin looks so good when I have it on, and it's pretty long lasting. It's $49, so I'm assuming it's less expensive than the Chantecaille. I do understand how I keep coming back to expensive favorites. There are some products that no matter the price, I'll always buy.

I bought this stick and I love it because I have very dry skin. I don't wear it by it's self. I put my Merit or Basma stick on top or skin tint underneath and it looks wonderful. I just use it as a glowy under base. Love the video.

What a great West 6 to use it. It's so similar to the look of the flawless filter I'm not sure they needed it in a stick form, but it is a lovely product. I'm looking forward to getting the correct shade and using it sparingly with concealer where I need it for added coverage. Then I'll just powder my t zone and be out the door. Yes, the formula is different than the flawless filter. Have you seen Wayne Goss's video about it? I love how he uses it and a sparring layer of powder to create an easy look. I’m about the same coloring as you (also a Washingtonian, I’m on the Olympic peninsula) I also got the lightest shade😅 I’ve been sweating since I pulled the trigger lol I should have just tried the new fenty. Maybe I’ll exchange mine too, but I want to try it first. I think I’ll try using it with more concealer vs foundation. Im hoping the butter texture melts in like a serum It’s such an intriguing product. ❤❤

It wore like a champ the day that I tested it. I decided to return mine, and I'm hoping to get into Sephora this weekend and see if I can find a better shade match. If not, I'll probably pick up shade one again. I checked on the Charlotte Tilbury website, and they shade match me to shade number one. 🤷‍♀️ I was really impressed at how long it wore, and how well it looked over sunscreen. I noticed that with each additional layer I built up I got more coverage, but I also got a lot more glow. I felt like the Tin Man. I really want to find something that I can wear without having to set my entire face. The powder products helped to dull down the glow, but I don't want to wear a full face of powder every time I reach for it. I'll have to keep trying it out and report back. I've seen an other review about this product and I thought this is to glowy for me. With my more oily skin this look like an no go. Like you; I love the LE skin tint. But I revisited my Hourglass skin tint and applyed with fingers I love that one as well. The coverage is a little bit more than the LE. The color is a little bit warmer and a hair darker, but for the summer it is a better match for me than in the wintertime. ( the Hourglass skin tint is even more expensive than the LE...)

I'm so happy with the LE and the Danessa Myricks skin tints. I did swap this for a slightly darker shade. I picked up 1.5, and it's a much better fit. I have combo skin. I think there's a good chance that I'll use this on my face perimeter and use something like the TirTir red cushion or Double Wear on the center of my face and T-zone. I don't think you'd like this if you're looking for less glow, but still want a sheer tint. I also like the Estee Lauder Double Wear sheer tint for a lighter look that holds on all day. I love Charlotte Tilbury products, especially the lipsticks and the powder. I have the flawless filter to add that glow, but all of her foundations just seem to sit on my skin, which is not what I always want. I may skip this one if all it does is glow. I have dry skin and am hoping to try the Lisa Eldridge skin tint. I like the Salt New York balm..never lets me down and doesn't seem to much with my skin care. I do like the Jones Road WTF but cannot use my skin care underneath as its too much otherwise. I wonder if Charlotte created this as a no make up make up look, or maybe a stick version of the Hollywood filter? Anyway, great video! Thank you~

Yes I got the mini powder too 🤣🤣🤣 so I could wear my hydrating yummy skin or halo tinted moisturizer and the NARS LR to tone them down I can’t stand to look greasy lol but I love the plumping smoothing they give love the tower 28 concealer too I was gonna get those during the sale then I didn’t I regret waiting haha

I really like the tower 28 concealer and the NARS foundation. That Givenchy is such a holy Grail in my collection. I really enjoy it.

I freaking love the Shishedo self refreshing foundation I got I can use all my sunscreens under it that’s dewy and it’s soooooo gorgeous!!! I tried the P.Calm Water Barrier yesterday I wore it from 3:30 -12:30 and it looked exactly the same as when I put it on my new favorite! The answer to my prayers!!!! lol!!! And the Givinchy powder is also incredible I lightly dusted that on top nose especially! 🤣🤣🤣

Ooh, I might have to pick up the self refreshing foundation. This CT foundation is already on it's way back. I'm going to try and shade match myself this weekend at Sephora. I really like how my hydrating shiseido foundation wears over SPF. I LOVE the Givenchy powder so much I still haven't had to bust into the larger size I ordered during the Sephora sale because that small size just keeps giving.

@@thelipstickgal the Givenchy powder is being reformulated. The channel French For a Day reviewed the new formula that has been released in Europe. It’s good you have purchased the large size before the reformation is released in the US. I have a large size but I’m thinking about buying another while It’s still available in the original formulation in the US

I found these at my local Walgreens for less than $10. They're from impress. I was on the impress website last night to order another set, and I couldn't find them. I did find them at Ulta. www.ulta.com/p/impress-premium-press-on-manicure-nails-pimprod2043555?sku=2619084 They're a bit more than what I paid for them at Walgreens, but they're super easy to put on. I hope you like them.

I feel this is like the Hollywood Flawless in a stick, I used it in combination with the Ilia stick foundation and it looked pretty but I do not like it on its own.

Yeah, it does seem like a version of the flawless filter. I prefer it over the liquid version, but I'm probably going to use it under another skin tint or foundation I can't use it as my sole source of coverage. It's just too much for my mature skin.

It’s not the finish for me but it looks super nice on you! Sadly the coconut in the LE tint broke me out (didn’t know coconut was a nono for me before…) otherwise I’d take that one and never look back because I loved it so much. Wish I could find a similar tint!

Thanks for watching today. I don't want to have to powder the whole face everyday. That's one of the concerns I have with this new stick Foundation from Charlotte tilbury. It wore really well, and didn't budge. I did set it with powder, and then hit it heavily with a setting spray. It turned out ok, but I already have initiated a return and have put it in the mail back to the brand. I hope to get to my local Sephora this weekend and find my shade. Sorry to hear that the LE skin tint broke you out. 😥 I would be so sad because it's everything I want in a tint.

Watch Wayne Goss, his video from yesterday goes through how he would use it - really useful!

Oh yes, I watched it right after he posted it. I like his approach, but I'm not much for applying foundation with my fingers. I do like the look of only powdering the T zone. In this video I was trying to see if I could build coverage, and I didn't get the advertised additional coverage, only additional glow. I was intentionally putting it through it's paces. It's a lovely product and I'm going to see if 1.5 or shade 2 will be a better match for me. Thanks so much for letting me know about Wayne video even though I'd already seen it. It's helpful.

I watched a video with Charlotte Tillberry, putting on this on models on some Australian TV show, and she said to use your finger tips

It looks fine, but seems like it's too much work for you to make it look like you want. I'm curious how it wears over sunscreens, both mineral and chemical, specifically ones that have a lot of silicone so already have slippery feel. I'm so pale and sunburn so easily that summertime makeup must wear over sunscreen for daytime wear. I'm not a CT fan, but I don't like heavy foundation, so I'm curious.

I wear sunscreen every day. I was wearing a chemical sunscreen that was 50 SPF PA ++++. It worked fine with it. The one thing I noticed was every layer not only added coverage, but more glow. I went from slightly glowy to very glowy. The powder products helped to dull the glow, but my skin looked more textured than I'd like. I should've shown a close up of my cheek. sorry I missed that. There's a less expensive skin tint at Sephora that's really lovely. It's by Danessa Myricks. It has more coverage than this, but if you apply less, and use a damp sponge, you can thin it out and it wears really well, looks like skin, and isn't nearly as expensive. Just a thought.

That’s a lot of work for a skin tint! I don’t think that’s a good product for me at all. My skin leans toward oily and I live in Texas. It would be a shiny mess.

@@phylliswiggins3438 yes, I wouldn't suggest it for hot and humid summer weather, much less for someone with more oil. I'm worried it won't work for me either come the true got weather, but it might be just what I need in the cooler months.

I can wear the light magic and the beautiful skin foundations all year long. The Hollywood flawless foundation works for all year too, but I don't use it as much as the other 2. I can wear the powder products as well as the products in the wands all year. My combo skin seems to like this brand. I just picked up the shade 1.5. It's a much better match than shade 1. I'm going to keep trying this with less powder over all. Thanks for watching.

I really dislike using my fingers for applying foundation. (especially with long nails) I think I got a shade that was too light a well. I shade matched myself on the CT website, an it suggested shade 1. I thought it would be a perfect match, but the pearl in the product along with the lighter shade made it look a little too light on my complexion.

That's a no for me, too much shine and very little coverage

It's just as glowy as the Hollywood flawless filter, and it doesn't make sense to me either as a foundation. As a highlight, it makes sense, but the line didn't need another highlighter. 🤷‍♀️

A little too ‘tin man.’ I think. it will just fall off. probably won’t last. Just stating my thoughts. Not much coverage. I’ve stopped jumping just because a prominent company makes something.

@@dtraveler3080 it's best with only one layer. The glow is build able, the coverage is not. 🤷‍♀️ It looks better when I got the right shade, but I'm still playing around with it.
