Its been so hard to get back into this game since Skul just released their final mind blowing update and Astral Ascent went to 1.0. Mix that in with Blazblue Entropy Effect and Oblivion Override being top tier rogue EA's released with constant updates, i find it hard to pick this game up again for now. The difficulty seems unfair at times in the higher difficulties.

Thanks including ravenswatch I just added 5 new rogue lites to my queue. Just finishing up death must die and starting gunfire reborn with some friends. These little 15 to $20 games are really adding up

The "fancy term" you're looking for about the dodge is called I-Frames. You don't get any I-Frames while dodging in this game so if you're not completely out of the hitbox of the attack, you'll take damage.

Picked this game up, and bought it for some friends during the autumn sale, and we are having a blast. I would love to see more ravenswatch content from you, if you are up for it!

This character is incredible, extremely strong but also extremely challenging to master, his parries are really fun to practice

The stance switching reminds me of The Watcher in Slay the Spire, but like in a good way!

This game looks so sick

At first I didn't really like his defense ability cause it seemed just too high risk and low reward, but... when you get the Stone Monkey talent on legendary and an additional defense charge (or two) it's incredible. You can just stand in a pile of enemies, mashing the defense button and everyone drops like flies around you. It's so much fun

The object that prevents you from taking more than 30 percent of your total health in damage is the best for Wukong.

they buff the itens? that they nerf the last update?

the grimoires should be done after you have more talents and enough money to have upgraded the talents to epic because the most value for grimoires is upgrading talents to legendary for a free 200 shards a pop. also you need more talents and levels to solo the room in time lol

This character looks super fun to play! As far as characters/weapons go in these kinds of roguelikes, Ravenswatch is at the top in variety and cool-factor.

They received a lot of good feedback from their previous title.. I've been waiting for the full release of this title on Steam.

I didn't think you would ever clickbait, saying Glass-Canon in the thumbnail but having 855hp in the end haha Finally started playing this game as well, and man in coop it's so much harder!

Holy shit this character is hard goddamn. Taking double damage in DPS mode after missing 1 parry is so rough.

Wondering if someone can help, can you save on this game ? cant find it anywhere on steam nor is it saving auto.

I don't believe you can save in the middle of a run I'm afraid.

[New player alert] Do you have to unlock heroes using the first 4 you get? Cos I have 4 greyed-out portraits that, unlike the rest of the grimoire, are not covered by "lock" symbols. Confusingly inconsistent UI for a n00b like me.

I wish they can reduce the camera shake on his dragon ball z move a bit. Real dizzy right there. Playing him felt like assassins class in many MOBA games, gotta find ways to get out alive after engaging.

not sure why wukong is a character that keeps coming back in games -i never heard anyone be like "that is my favorite hero"... dont think it "speek" to many people... (lol and then i look at the comments below and see someone say "wukong is one of my favorite mythical characters ever) when that being said then the combat looks pretty decent in this one... a lot of dodging, nice animations and hero design that are very different from eachother... interesting --also looking at the hotbar and the way this player map out his spells (lb, x, rt, blank?, b, rb) i wonder why more games dont create a few templates to choose from that fit how ever a player like to map their buttons... doesnt seem like very much work since it is static graphics and it makes such a huge difference when the visual representation fits the layout of your keyboard/gamepad especialy when you try to introduce new players to your game....

i played this game a little, but the timer is a huge no no for me. being froced to fight the boss at the end of the time is not a fun mechanic for me

@@donovantalk1015 yeah Curse of the Dead Gods was awesome, but I like more the timer. My complain is that you can't start directly from the second chapter. Adiing an hub zone that lets you choose the order you tackle zones would be a great improvement for me
