Just wondering if you can give an update on your thoughts regarding the edge camera. How did it perform during hunting season ect.. ? Ty, John

My Edge says it's using the NW cell network. I'm on the east coast. I've never heard of a NW cell network here.

Is the cell plan year-long or month to month?

How do you choose video or still shots? Can you do both and can you change them over the App?

You choose directly in the app.

That wouldn’t last long on public land here. It’s too bad they don’t make it lockable for a python type lock right through the body of the camera

I see the no sd card as a big negative. Not a feature…

You look at it much differently than I do. 95% of any issues with trail cams is the result of SD cards. Plus no more putting them in and formatting them. All my pics come to my app so for me there is zero reason for SD cards.

@@ALL-In-Outdoors I agree. Sd cards can cause issues if your careless. My problem is that there’s no way you can easily physically backup every photo taken at its highest resolution. You essentially have to pay for every image you want to keep in hd.

@@bowhuntingforlife I guess that isn't an issue for me. I don't keep all that many in HD. If you want everything in HD then I guess cards are for you. But i will easily take that trade off and I only really want very few pics in HD.

@@ALL-In-Outdoors the other negative is that you cannot use this camera as a non cellular camera at all. I like running cameras year round but it doesn’t make sense to pay for service all times of year. I tend to buy all cellular cameras and use them as non cell cameras when unnecessary. Not having that versatility in this camera is a bummer.

@@bowhuntingforlife I get that but again. Not a big deal for me personally. I have many other traditional cameras that I use in those times of the year. Never used any of my cellular cams, even with the cards, that way. I guess it is all in the end users. None of these trade offs are a big deal at all for me. And I run over 30 trail cams. Love the convenience, the ease of use and the full integration with the app. It's the perfect cam for me so far.

it would be a good camera if it had gps tracking if it gets stolen
