have u tried Summon Carrion Golem of Scavenging ? i checked on poebd. Normal BoneGolemCascade does Deals 35% less Attack Damage, and the BoneGolemCascadeEmpowered does Deals 85% more Attack Damage. isnt that about 3 times damage? Also theres no cd with the empowered bonegolem cascade, once theres are corpses around it.

GGG main goal is to screw over minion builds entirely.

Well im playing it right now and there is no change on carrion golems which you mentioned... still added phys dmg + 5% inc per non-golem...

Does the +2 from horde mean only +2 to carrion? What I mean is, would it theoretically be possible to have a few horde gems (lightning, stone, chaos etc) and get a silly amount of golems?

It sets your base max golems to 3 and only for carrion golems. So unfortunately it will not work the way you are describing. At least that's how I'm reading it...

When the carrion golem got nerfed like this. Do you think that if you were to end game content every boss in terms of best DPS, what do you think should be played between guardian or elementalist or necromancer and why?

In this particular setup, any phys to elemental minions really, Guardian still outclasses the others just because of the damage scaling of the relics. Unchecking the relics is about a 50% dps loss and I don't think the other ascendancies can make up for it. If you have like mirrors worth of gear/jewels necromancer may get close but that's a real expensive option imo.

@@firkzgaming I'm going Guardian SRS this season, and I'm using normal Bone Golem with Elemental Army to spread resist debuffs, since it is getting hit by the elemental damage auras from the relics. Because the normal golem has the cone attack, it generally is able to apply resist debuffs better than even three golems without the cone attack. At this point, I care less about the personal damage contribution than I am its ability to buff my SRS with flat additional damage that gets converted and is multiplied by all the More and Increased multipliers and its ability to spread elemental resist debuffs from Elemental Army. But yea, Carrion Golem got absolutely shafted. I don't see ANY build which honestly would make use of either of those variants. Scavenging, as you said, will steal from your offerings, which is actively bad, and doesn't increase minion damage, which is mechanically worse. Like, what kind of pet build doesn't use offerings? What were they thinking by making it counter-synergistic with one of the primary ways a minion caster buffs their minions?

So zoomancer is not s+ this season?

Could i have a pob of your build im actualy playing a carion golem build rn and duno if its the best

How much of a nerf is this overall? does it prevent it from being viable from doing certain things? Also does the 40% cdr help at all or just means better clear because they slam more?

The cdr is to summon the golem. It's 3 golems vs 5 of the rest. Better go stone now.

About 15% dps loss unfortunately. Still viable, just not as strong obviously. The CDR is weird. PoB doesn't seem to calculate it at all, but it helps.

Yup! I'm still going carrion golem -> AW. Just probably gonna swap earlier than expected.

The normal Carrion still op no? The nerf of anima stone get compansate with plus 1 on the golem gem with quality, and 20% more life across the board to all golems.

Give the scavenging a try, man. Then judge it after running some maps.

Complete unnecessary nerf. Carrion golem been AGES that isn't a strong build. EVERY golem is better with the hordes, carrion got worse. I build carrion + zombie, gotta go stone + zombie now...

@@Roweyy they did. Normal gem = 50% more dmg and 1 less golem cuz of anima. The horde = 2 more golems and no 50% more dmg nor buff orther minions. In the end is less dmg than normal gems. Stone golems with 2 more golems deal more dmg now.
