If you find your phone has been upgraded to Android 14 and it no longer shows some or any apps on your screen you will need to enable android auto's developer mode then go into developer settings (Top right 3 dots) and change the application mode to developer from retail and near the bottom of the same page you must tick the box next to "Unknown Sources" . That should fix issues with connecting android 14.
