Nice car. I recommend 5k oil changes. The dealer will tell you you can do 10k, dont listen to them. If you read the toyota service manual, it says 5k recommended but only 10k for specific circumstances, witch almost nobody meets.

You are right! My second car was a gold 1994 Camry LE. Then my 5th car was new 2017 Toyota Camry SE all black inside and out. Enjoyed both cars. But this Camry.. Is much different, it doesn’t seem like it’s a Camry, I’m guessing because Toyota seemed like they had that conservative approach. But not this car. I’m looking forward to their new body style when it comes out.

@@lukasfoster7515 I've only driven it in the rain once but it seemed to handle it very well....no sense of slipping.....the real test will be this winter in Northern Indiana we get hit pretty hard so it should be very helpful......we love the car....it drives like a dream!

I got a 21 xse and you can’t go wrong with the 4 cylinder, ample power while still being efficient. have been able to reach 40 mpg on some highway trips. Really love the car overall

This is one of the biggest reasons why I purchased this car. Because of the fuel. And you’re right. I’m about to put in my second tank of gas in, and I’ve got over 400 miles on it.

Hey! I put a lot of thought about getting the V-6 but there were other things I was having to consider. Tell me, how is the V-6 on gas? And did you get a chance to compare the V-6 against the 4cylinder. I’m going to miss the old school V-6 engines.

@@lukasfoster7515 I used to have a Corolla and even when i pushed it. It was at least 29 mpg on Avg. But now the Camry is very different since i got which wasn’t long. Ive managed 20.4 mpg but most of the driving wasn’t mine since it was a 19’. In general i only push the car when necessary as far as passing but its worth it imo.

@@lukasfoster7515 If you care about economy over long distances id say it’s probably not worth it. If you want like everything the camry has to offer and Gas Mpg isn’t a concern then id say yeah get the V6 because it’s noticeably quicker. They say the 0-60 is about 7.5 in the 2.5 4 cyl and 5.8 in the 3.5 6 cyl.

Can’t go wrong with a camry. This could be the most reliable car anyone can buy today. The only draw back for Camrys is boring looks. Now that’s not an issue. This is the first camry that beats other sedans in looks. My opinion good looking midsize sedans in the past were: Kia optima, Kia stinger, vw cc, 2012 Nissan maxima. But those are all crappy cars. Here, there is no compromise.

Hey thank you for your comment. I agree with you 💯. I had a 2017 Camry se. And this 2023 Camry is a complete different car. Toyota was smart making this design inside and out. Yeah.. it’s outdated now, but when Toyota released this car back in 2017/18 whatever that year was. This turned heads. I still get nods from people when driving, that’s crazy I get compliments from people like Lexus or bmw drivers. They tell me, I had to look twice to see what you were driving. I love this car!

That panoramic roof shade was pretty loud.. maybe it’s just me. I’m considering the XSE non hybrid. But want to wait until I see how the next generation Camry looks.

What was the asking price for this model ? I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla sport , I’ve been looking to see what on the market for 2024 and the new Toyota Corolla hybrid nightshade has got me so excited, even though I’m not giving up my car until it’s on it’s last leg . Your Camry is gorgeous, I love the little details the blue lights and the panoramic sunroof is bad ass !!

Hey thank you for your comment. The total asking price was $39,880. I could have gotten more options, but the monthly payments would have been too high for me. Corolla’s are nice cars. I see them everywhere I go. Let me know if you decide on getting the new night shade Corolla. I would love to hear on what decision you made/make. :)

I was seriously considering the 2024 XSE V6, but at the end of the day I didn’t do it. The car handled beautifully, was quick af and I liked the interior, BUT the resolution on the camera system is abysmal. It’s inexcusable that they don’t use a decent resolution because that is not expensive at all. I also was not impressed at all with the upgraded sound system my vehicle had. In my final analysis, the little things Toyota America neglected gave me serious pause about dropping $40k on this vehicle.

Hey thank you for your comment! I agree, the Camry lacks in some things. And Toyota needs to improve on their mechanics. But for all the things the XSE has to offer and for what it is. This car is a bargain.

I have a deposit placed on a 2023 Camry SE in Ice Edge. I was hoping for the new 2024 redesign Camry later this year, but my car has been giving me issues that has cost me to date $10K. And now I have all these warning lights coming ON. Can I ask why you didn't wait for the 2024 Camry? Your thoughts on the 2023 SE? Do you feel the 4-cylinder lags and slow?

Thank you for watching my video! I believe you will enjoy your new Camry SE. know what you mean by the new redesign, I’ve been paying close attention but still nothing yet. Know all about car trouble. Been there myself, hated it. And don’t miss it. I needed something that was better on gas. Wasn’t getting that with my 2021 Toyota 4Runner. My thoughts on the SE.. so I owned a 2017 Camry SE and enjoyed that car. I just wished it had more features. Other than that one thing, the car was just about right for me. I’m not someone that needs big flashy items. As far goes the lag part of the 4-cylinder. I definitely don’t feel like the car lags at all. Plenty of power and quickness, and I haven’t even really pushed my car to the limit just yet.

@@lukasfoster7515 I appreciate your response to the SE. I still have my deposit secured and the SE should arrive by June 3, 2023. I drive a 16-yr. old Lexus GS 350. I spent nearly $10K since June 2022 on repairs/maintenance. Now all these Check Engine, VSC warning lights have come ON. Its time to buy a new car. Lexus, today, offered me a complimentary diagnostic test. I told them, I'm not paying anymore money to fix that car. They offered me a Lexus NX 350 Hybrid as a loaner. I was contemplating purchasing this car when I was also deciding on the SE. The NX is a nice car, but if I were to get one, it would be the NX 250 (non-turbo). Cost is $45K incld. tax/lic. The SE is $32-33K incld tax/lic. I don't know what to do. I know with the Lexus, I am always given a loaner and I don't have to wait to get my car fixed. With a Toyota, I'd have to wait. I know I'm paying a lot of $ for Lexus service to get that loaner. I have 2 weeks to decide on one of these cars, NX 250 or SE. Both cars are arriving at the end of the month.

Congratulations! Looking to buy one too. Replacing a 2021 KIA RIO S, totaled last month.

Hey Eddie, I’m sorry to hear about your car accident. Hope you are ok. This Camry XSE with the options I referred on getting, this really has spoiled me. You will love the Camry.
